"We came back from dinner at a friend's house to water standing in our laundry room, powder room, most of the kitchen and seeping into family room carpet. A coupler from our under-the-sink water purification system had blown and a 3/8 inch pipe had been running for possibly as long as 5 hours. After my daughter and I spent about 2 hours mopping up all the water we could and pulling up the soggy carpet to keep the water from going under my hardwood floors, we went to bed (it was about 1 am). Early the next morning, I went on to Angie's List to find a reliable flood remediation company. San Diego Water Damage stood out among the rest. I called, and was immediately impressed by the prompt response to my situation. The "team" came out completely prepared. They extracted water from my carpet and then cut the damaged carpet and hauled it out. They were thorough, using infrared cameras to show me where the water damage was, even where it had made it under my hardwood floor through a small crack! I was very concerned about the floor, as I did not want to replace it. They brought out special drying "mats", that extracted the water from under the hardwood floor, saving it! Everything was done with the height of professionalism and expertise. The follow-up has been amazing. I am so thoroughly impressed with their work and have recommended them to both my insurance company and the contractor who did the restoration work."

"Harry Wheeler and his 2 employees did a very good job. They made sure that the roof dimensions were squared, and they did excellent work with the framing and installing the roofing material. The center part of the roof was an opaque corrugated fiber that let light into the area - and the replacement that Harry's team did is even better. It's a little larger than the one we had before and lets in more light. They also made sure that the vertical supports for the repaired roof were solid and that the barn itself was undamaged by the falling tree."

"My service request was to replace my kitchen faucet that was leaking. It was a Moen that probably cost close to $200. when it was installed years ago. My Moen was replaced with a faucet and spray nozzle that was pretty cheap that felt like a cheap plastic. My Ex husband made the comment, “WOW! Looks like they went all out and bought that faucet from dollar general! Let’s see how long that thing lasts!” I hate to admit it, but this time he was right. When I would turn on the faucet, the water stream had no pressure. It was like a string of water that came out of the faucet. I would have to use the spray nozzle in order to get a forceful stream. Well yesterday, I reached for the nozzle and it broke. (That faucet had been installed less than 5 month ago.) So now, I have a little stream of water coming from the faucet with a broken spray nozzle. I decided I’m just going to have my son replace the whole thing with a Moen. I’ve always had a great experience with AHS. I probably won’t use AHS again to replace faucet fixtures etc. (I notified AHS about the problem soon after the faucet/sprayer was installed, but they said I would need to put in another work order. I figured, it would just be replaced with another cheap faucet.)"
