"Purchased tile grout work.  Was hoping worker would find minimal damage, and could just use the time to refresh grout, but knew that was unlikely.  He let me know about areas of damage / excessive wear that I'd suspected, and he verified.  He spent most of the time working on patching those areas, then refreshed some of the more "tired" areas before leaving.  Stayed longer than the allotted time, to be sure that the most needed areas were addressed, and I was billed later for the additional time. Definitely worth it.

"Very professional. Kept me informed throughout the job. Finish 3 weeks ahead of time. Showed concern for expenses for me. I will absolutely call them back for additional work."

"My husband and I needed to have our bathroom and kitchen remodeled. We solicited quotes from 3 contractors and selected Dougherty to do the work. Since my husband and I are both retired we had plenty of interaction with the Dougherty staff and their subcontractors. We were very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. I love my new kitchen and bathroom! Yes, there were minor problems, but we have an old house and went into the project knowing they might uncover some things. Their staff collaborated with us when any issues arose so that we could reach a workable solution. The final cost was within 10% of the original bid, mostly due to cabinet upgrades. We have since contracted separately with three of the Dougherty subs, one for routine HVAC maintenance and the others for a large room that needed drywall repair and painting. I would hire Dougherty again without hesitation."

"Both the drywall crew and the finish pro arrived on time each day and worked quickly and efficiently. I received quality work for a fair price. The employees were a pleasure to interact with."

"We had a deck/porch, and front door replacement.Work was done in good time. We like it and are very happy. Some of our neighbors complemented that it looks good. I recommend this company to anyone who needs work done."

"We needed our free-standing shower replaced. This included replacement of some tile outside the shower, and cosmetic repair of part of a wall in our bedroom. Big bathroom contractors like Luxury Bath told us we would have to get separate contractors for each of those projects. Bob took care of everything. In addition, it turned out that our shower was not a standard size and required a custom design. Bob handled this as well. Due to this, the project lasted longer than initially expected as the shower glass had to be specially ordered. However, we now have a rain-drop glass shower with rain shower head and hand-held sprayer that blends in with our existing master bath. Bob's tile work is beautiful. We got the shelf in the shower we wanted as well as our choice of tile and design (Bob met me at a tile store of my choosing to pick out the tiles for the entire project). Importantly, Bob kept within the budget agreed upon. He consulted with us throughout the project so we were always aware of where things stood and understood when the project was delayed."

"The pro was very communicative, able to adapt to my schedule and provided the exact work requested in a timely professional manner. It was very humid the day of install and they made a return trip to make sure everything dried and sealed appropriately."

"Responded to my request very fast. And provided excellent service"

"Complete the job according to our timeline. Left the place clean. Priced reasonably. Very friendly. Very recommend. I’ll call him for all future jobs. Thank you Joe Wilson"
