"It went great! Patrick came out on a Saturday to see what was causing my line to back up. He used his camera to find mud in a section of my pipe indicating some type of crack or break. Gave me my options for fixing it. He started his repair two days later on Monday and finished up today, Wednesday. They dug roughly, a 4ft by 3ft hole to get down to the pipe and ended up digging two more feet towards the basement to ensure that they connected the new pipe to a solid piece of the existing pipe. Very competitive pricing, I called two other plumbers who were both higher priced by at least 2K and didn't offer as good of a warranty on their work. Very knowledgeable, able to help me understand how my whole sewer system works. Very professional, got the permit with the city, busted the work out, got the job inspected by the city and Closed up the hole. Patrick and his crew were also able to remove a piece of cable that someone previously broke and left in the pipe ( from that machine that rods your line). I highly recommend Patrick and his crew. "People's Gas, on a routine check of the lines, found two leaks on our main gas line into our condo building. People's Gas put us through the ringer (wish we could Angie's List them because they would get an F-) Tried a different provider to fix the leaks and they never called back. Called Charlie and it went AWESOME! I told him the situation...we even had to reschedule twice because People's Gas couldn't do what they were supposed to do when they were supposed to do it...Charlie flexed every time and worked around the delays. "Like most of their competitors, Reliance charges a fee for dispatched estimates which would be deducted from any final invoicing of work. Michael was promptly dispatched to my home to assess a particularly challenging drain replacement: the original builder made no allowance for service access to the tub 30 years prior. Any repair would require demolition of the tub enclosure or ceiling below. Michael's assessment and quote recommended cut-in to the side of the tub, but it was unclear if this would have given him enough access for the repair. We were fearful that the initial effort would have quickly escalated into more work. We also were distrustful of a company that charges line item warranties for their own service (i.e. 6 months vs. 1 year vs. 2 years) and does it's scheduling and quoting from an electronic tablet with nothing in writing on the front end. We subsequently were able to make this repair on our own and avoided the expense - which likely would have ratcheted up to over $1200."
