However shortly after meeting John and his crew I could tell that John is a guy that I would feel uncomfortable to do business with. I could see he took great pride in what he was doing. My instincts were right. He did everything he said he would do and more. As a matter of fact he stopped by my house one day after finishing up another job just to check on the progress. John wasn't happy with the way something came out on the deck. Without me even having to say anything he pointed it out and said he was going to have his crew redo the work and apologized that it was going set us back 1/2 days work (at no cost to us of course) . He was very easy to deal with and more importantly listened to us, his customers. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and can't wait to use him again on our next project."

In the process, we had a major plumbing leak in the basement (no fault of Robert's--some old valves did not work properly), but he immediately got us the service of a plumber with whom he often works. This subcontractor charged us a very reasonable price for what turned out to be a time-consuming repair, and Robert stayed around the whole time to make sure everything turned out fine.
