"Mike called to let me know his earlier job finished early and he could therefore be at my place earlier than originally scheduled if I'd like. I happily accepted this. He completed the work in the time quoted as estimated over the phone. He was friendly and professional and most importantly, able to clear my drain! Thanks Mike!"

"I came home from work to find all my drains were not draining. I tried some basic troubleshooting, but could not figure out the issue. I called heritage ( which was after hours). Within an hour, the technician Derek arrived, I gave all the information to him, and he started immediately. We narrowed it down to an issue with the septic. 10pm we are outside digging up the septic to get a look. Dereks knowledge and experience quickly identified the issue. The whole time he was friendly and informative. It didnâ t matter the time of night it was, he was determined to fix the issue. He was repairing in a way that would keep the cost down. That rarely happens with contractors. Within 30 minutes, he had the main drain cleared from the house to the septic. Derek even took the effort to double check from the opposite end in my house to make sure it was up to his standards. The whole time he is sharing knowledge and explaining the cause and effects and how the system is designed. When the job was finished, we went over the invoice. I couldnâ t believe the price! For emergency service, and the work that was done, the price was extremely fair. I highly recommend heritage plumbing and heating, and of course Derek."

"Arrived promptly. Not knowing where the tank was, I shared the blueprint and pipe leaving the house. He had me flush a signal device which he then tracked to the precise location. He dug down to the tank lid. Pumped 1,250 gallon tank.
Provided me with valuable information I was not aware of. Water level was above pipe and should have been below, could indicate issue with leach field or just be because we were overdue for being pumped. If we notice toilet gurgling, we will call him back to investigate the leach field. Recommended pumping every 4 years and flushing 16 oz. warm water with 5-6 yeast cubes dissolved, monthly. Recommended single ply toilet paper, liquid soaps and detergents, no feminine products, no 'flushable' wipes, and no grease.
Thankfully we had removed the existing garbage disposal already. They are a no-no for septic systems. Not sure what the original homeowners were thinking. ;-)
I am going to buy two 24" round 6" high plastic risers and a 24" round lid so the tank will not have to be dug up after the next pump.
I paid by credit card and was given a receipt, a magnet with the pump date and recommended next schedule date, and two business cards.
Very personable and I highly recommend!
"

"I called several septic companies to get prices on pumping and Title V inspection. The prices from RM Ratta were reasonable and I was impressed with the responsiveness and positive attitude of the woman who worked with me to schedule the service. She knew that I was selling my home and looking for a soonest-possible appointment, and I was happy that she was able to fit me in within a week.
The inspector arrived a little early for a 9:00 appointment. I had already dug the tank cover and he proceeded to locate and hand dig the two other lids -- to the tank baffle and the distribution box. I wished that I could remember the inspector's name. He was personable and customer-service oriented and he answered all of my questions and worked carefully. He took particular care to remove sod chunks from my lawn so they could be replaced afterwards without much sign of the excavation. A colleague of the inpsector's arrived a little later to pump the tank, and he did this care and skill. I was gently admonished for going longer than recommended between pumpings, and given a good explanation of why: to prevent solids from building up in the tank and ultimately making it through the baffle (where only liquids should pass) and ultimately compromising the septic field. Believe me, this hit home, as I awaited the results of the inspection of the baffle and d-box. The inspector had some challenges locating the d-box -- there was a 90-degree turn in the pipe that led to it and when we finally got to the box and lid, we could see that the liquid was at just the right level in the trench pipe outlet from the d-box. Big relief on that, confirming the system was performing as expected. Also, big relief that the design drawings I had showed compliance with current Title V criteria. I would use RM Ratta again without hesitation, but don't expect that I will, as I am moving to a home with a public sewer connection.

"

"I will be calling Rowell's Sewer and Drain again if I ever need their services. They were professional, kind, and efficient from start to finish. They were able to help us the same day, AND give us a quote for their services over the phone (no other place I called would do that), and what we were charged matched what we were quoted. They not only fixed the problem (a clogged sewer line) but also suggested possible causes (roots from nearby trees) AND supplied us with commercial strength RootX free of charge, as well as making suggestions on things to avoid doing that could make it worse. The day after the service the office even called me again to make sure I was satisfied with the service I received. A++

"
