"Leaving a less than stellar review giving me no pleasure yet I feel obligated to do so. Rod renovated two of my lofts. The 1st time was a complete disaster because his project manager, a war veteran, suffered personal problems during the drawn out renovation. But Rod impressed me by owning up to their mistakes and fixed the damages to his best abilities. So I hired him again to renovate another loft. The process was much smoother this time and I was pretty pleased with the end results. However, problems started to surface as I prepared to bring these lofts online. I believe that these issues could have been avoided with a little care, issues like vibrating vent fan and flickering light in it, dead outlets as a result of inadequate wiring, spotty paint jobs on the kitchen cabinets, and leaky plumbing under the kitchen sink that, as my plumber pointed, is due to inadequate plumbing. I would not have complained had I not paid good money for these jobs. Rod does high volume and subcontracts jobs out. I'm sure he's got a long list of quality contractors to choose from judging by the raving reviews on here. Unfortunately, no one on that list was available when I called and so Rod's own crew took on the jobs. I'm sad to say that these guys lack the experience and finesse to justify their worth."
