"I had a long (4 ft) marble threshold into my bathroom that had cracked several years ago due to house settling. I finally got around to special ordering the replacement piece, and contacted Jim the Handyman to get it installed. Their office was extremely prompt and responsive about getting me an estimate and scheduling the service to be completed. I was very happy with the professionals they sent, as the work was done carefully, thoroughly, and with a full explanation at every step of the way. In assessing the project before starting, we noticed that some bathroom tiles also needed re-fixing to the floor, and this was completed at an additional cost. I would not say that Jim the Handyman was the cheapest vendor I found for this job, but I really appreciate the quality workmanship which was the real priority for me. I would hire them again for other small jobs."

"Normally I would not review a company I didn’t end up hiring but I want to highlight the impressive professionalism and responsiveness of Mr Mendez. I had planned to have my front door and shutters painted and realized only a couple of days before my scheduled job that actually my shutters were in bad shape that paint could not save. Mr Mendez worked with me to assess the situation and responded quickly to texts even over the weekend, ultimately recommending that I install new shutters that don’t require painting. Mr Mendez is very knowledgeable and helpful. I will not hesitate to use this company for future painting needs."

"We originally had four items on our list. Jesse came out for the estimate and did a quick inspection of the exterior and found several items that needed to be addressed. We ended up having the team tackle all the additional items so they wouldn't turn into bigger issues later. Other than a delay in the start day and a hiccup on the first work day, the job went well. Alberto and Javier were pleasant to deal with, respectful, neat and did a great job on each project. They replaced a piece of trim and the rubber seal on the side of the garage door and you'd never know it wasn't the original piece. They painted the trim and garage door and didn't spill a drop on the driveway. Inside, they laid drop cloths leading down to the basement where they replaced a section of drywall. They covered the entire room in plastic so as not to get dust everywhere when they sanded. After patching the drywall, they painted the entire wall so the patch wouldn't stand out. They moved all the furniture and put everything back where it was when they were finished. When they were all done, you would never have know they were here because they didn't leave any mess behind. We were so glad to have all these little projects completed and done well. This is our second time using JW Home Improvement and we would use them again. We would also ask for Alberto and Javier again. They make a great team."
