Within 20 minutes he had figured out that the mystery thump we had been hearing for weeks was in fact the pressure regulator going bad. 20 minutes later it was fixed and we have had no issues since. He repaired a leaking pipe in my master bath, furnished and installed a gas 50 gallon hot water tank, furnished and installed a new garbage disposal, installed a kitchen faucet I provided, replaced two outdoor hose bibs, replaced the main water intake valve and installed a pressure regulator, replaced two other shut off valves.
