"Best home Improvement service I ever use"

"Having had work done in my home from small tasks to significant renovations I have encountered several contractors who perform marginal or substandard work so I decided to source a reputable contractor from Angi. After reading the comments and reviews, I arranged a personal meeting with Mike Melia for my bathroom renovation. Mike responded quickly to evaluate and explore and explain the best options while taking into consideration my handicaps. Throughout the project there was much infrastructure from prior work performed and existing conditions. Mike addressed all structural problems, plumbing and electrical repairs including a new sub panel. Mike has remarkable attention to detail for every aspect of work and he completed the work with a high standard of professionalism with his employees and subcontractors. Mike was on site everyday in constant communication with myself and my insurance company. He was unexpectedly neat and clean throughout the process. This very challenging project could not have gone smoother. He is personally knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend Mike and his team. I am now using Mike and his team to build a full deck and to make structural repairs to my garage. I hope my experience inspires others to contact Mike Melia when it comes to finding value versus price. "It went very well. They are very good. Their timing is great. There have been a couple times when my son was parked in the driveway and we had to reschedule but it was no problem. Every time they come out they make sure everything is done. They are very fast. The service is super!"

"The work, including making a wood frame for, and then pouring a 4" concrete foundation, followed by assembling a 10' x 8' toolshed was skillfully done. The work was very neat, completed on time and all the debris was removed. In addition, Kladji, the owner, was extremely good about returning phone calls and messages, and very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend his services, which were priced reasonably."

"Mr. Powers, at first, was courteous and reliable; the project seemed to have problems, and he was getting frustrated at having to surface the existing deck due to its configuration; he claimed that the measurements and figures were off, while another professional disagreed with his calculations; the project was delayed due to materials being delayed by supplier; Mr. Powers suggested another other remedies for steps and that I purchase an additional type of board for $120, which I did; i paid Mr. Powers in full of the understanding that he would come back and finish off certain areas; during this time, a death occurred and he was unable to come when scheduled; when I texted Mr. Powers, he began belligerent, and cursed at me. I do not find it professional to curse at a client and refuse to take phone calls. I ultimately told Mr. Powers not to come back to my house and to refund the board I purchased that was in his possession. He did so. Since the time of completion, May 2026, numerous boards have come loose. I had someone else correct this issue, and now more boards are coming loose, which I texted him about and showed pictures of on September 9, 2026, and have not heard back from Mr. Powers regarding acknowledgment or addressing the loose boards, as my contract provides for two (2) years."

"After originally planning on a kitchen renovation, we ended up doing an entire first-floor reno. Alex, our contractor, was exceptionally attentive and consistently went above and beyond., He was always here, making sure the job got done right. On multiple occasions, we changed our requests and he let us know our best options. We now have a beautiful first floor that was opened up after a wall was taken down and we widened our cutout and doorway between the kitchen and the family room. Our hardwood floors are exquisite and our house is much more inviting with an opened staircase plus a new prefab fireplace. We trust MountainTop so much that we intend on using them again to expand our upstairs. Alex is a good person who cares about the customer. He makes sure the job is done right and responds when you have a concern. We have recommended him before and we will again."
