Tom Evans called shortly after I submitted the request, and he and his partner Jerry showed up within twenty minutes after that and were finished with the job in under an hour. They had everything it needed on their truck - a new wax ring, new plastic shims to replace the wooden ones that had been there previously, and a new caulk job. The toilet flushes fine with no leaks, and it's now very sturdy and not going anywhere. "High quality, responsive, fair, and clean These guys are the best! We worked with them on a water heater replacement and a air conditioner repair/replacement - both in July 2019. When our water heater broke, we called several places. They were the first to respond - Ahmad was able to come out to our house within an hour or so. He answered our questions, let us know why he knew it needed to be replaced (as opposed to repairing a link), and began working. He noted that our previous water heater had been installed incorrectly, and he re-welded a pipe so that the new water heater could be installed on a more level surface. While he was at our house, we asked if he could also install a new kitchen faucet that we had been meaning to replace. He was able to fix it in 20 minutes. For both repairs, he left the worksite clean. I'm glad our water heater broke that day, because we learned they also do air conditioner repair. Dean was much more knowledgeable and provided us with more repair options than any other company we had contacted. We had been under the impression that both our air handler and condenser needed to be replaced, but he let us know that although the condenser needed to be replaced, only one part of the air handler - the coil - needed to be replaced. This saved us thousands of dollars. Dean also patiently answered our questions about other air conditioner options we were considering (e.g., whether to get a a unit with greater capacity). While we were waiting for parts to be available, they did a temporary fix of our old air conditioner so that we didn't melt during the heat wave. On the day of the repair, everything went smoothly - they kept me informed about progress and cleaned up after themselves. I'll definitely call Green Apple the next time I have a plumbing or HVAC issue!"
