"In performing my due diligence, I contacted---or attempted to contact---about 5 countertop vendors. Some wanted me to come in and talk with them - they did NOT want to come out to see me any my area of work, which was my kitchen that I was totally remodeling.. Nathan was quick to call me back and set up an appointment - around my schedule. He was prompt and brought actual samples. We talked about countertop options....I had wanted quartz, but we ended up with granite and am I glad we did. The next step was to go and pick out the granite. I took a colleague from work and we had a blast! The lady there was extremely helpful - lot of good choices, but with the floor sample and color scheme I had with me, I was able to choose a slab that had a unique pattern (later became part of my 3 x 5 island). A man came out and laser measured everything.....I was present and was concerned that I hadn't had all my appliances installed yet. No problem. On the day of the actual install, Nathan and crew took less than a day to remove the old C-Top, install a new garbage disposal (I had bought), a new granite sink and the new C-Top and Island (I had built). I came in from work to review and pay the balance. When I walked around the corner, I was totally blown away....WOW---It was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! It was better than I expected!!!!We settled up and I complimented him for his attention to detail, cleanup and overall positive attitude. I would highly recommend Nathan for his high quality work. It is hard to find an artisan these days who not only responds, but takes great pride in his work. Thank you Nathan! Randy"

"Our experience with Cincinnati Stoneworks was positive every respect. We visited their showroom twice to pick out a possible replacement for our laminate countertop, coming home with several samples and settling on one (quartz). The installation crew came out about a week later to do measurements and, within 10 days, returned to install the countertop (mounting the granite composite sink that we supplied) and carry away the old countertop and sink. The installation went very smoothly and was completed within two or three hours. I had opted to do the faucet, disposal and plumbing re-installation on my own and learned later that the faucet I purchased required extenders because of the combined thickness of the sink and countertop. When the extenders were delivered several days later, I discovered that the mounting holes in the countertop weren't large enough. We gave Cincinnati Stoneworks a call and the installer was back at our house within two hours to enlarge the holes. To say that we are pleased with our experience would be an understatement. The total cost was in-line with estimates we received from other places, so can't say that price was the determining factor. However, their service and responsiveness along with reviews from other customers led us to move ahead. Their staff and installers were friendly, helpful, and accommodating at every step of the process. The fit, finish and appearance of the new countertop is great."

"From start to finish Stone Design was helpful with all questions and kept a professional approach to the job. Would defiantly hire them again. We picked an upper level granite $67/sqft and had approx 40 square feet to the job. Used Camel Cream granite from Unique Stone supplier. Did back splash in tile myself."

"Schul tile provided excellent professionalim, punctuality and qualitty. Dave came out to meet us very promptly after initial contact to review the project and gather the details required. We are reaonably detail oriented people and he was very receptive to our feedback and suggestions. He then quickly scheduled us, provided a reasonable quote and an estimated time to complete the job. Each day, the work began as scheduled. After completion of the job, the kitchen area was left neat and clean. Installation results were excellent. We installed a large section of subway tiles with darker grout lines on a 100 year-old masonry wall. It is not a perfectly straight wall, to say the least. They did an excellent job of ensuring clean, even and consistent grout lines. The outcome is a very professional and complete look. Thanks again to Schul tile for the great work -- we'd certainly recommend them and plan on using them on future tile projects. <br />"

"We were very pleased. The technician arrived on time and began work immediately. We were told that he would be here all day but he was finished within three hours! He cleaned the white tile floor and it looks like new. Areas in the shower and in the bathroom itself that needed regrouting were done beautifully--you can't tell where the work was done. Cleanup was thorough and he gave us instructions on followup care."

"This company was excellent to work with, from start to finish. My husband and I knew we needed to replace our terrible avocado-green laminate in the kitchen, and got several estimates from different companies. I found this company via an Angie's List deal, and read all of the reviews I could, then initiated contact prior to purchase.  <br /> Brad was fantastic -- he answered all of my (many!) questions, and took a lot of time out of his day for someone that wasn't even a committed customer yet. When the questions were all answered to my satisfaction, I was ready to purchase the deal...only to find that it was gone from Angie's List. Regardless, he still honored the deal. They have a similar deal still listed on their website.  <br /> Things to know -- the $1499 special doesn't include ALL granite. I've read a few negative reviews about that. Their website states very clearly the colors that are included, depending on what granite supplier you choose. If you don't like any of those colors, I believe you can upgrade the granite for an additional fee. The granite we wanted was included on the list, so we were fine, but just  keep that in mind. And -- it's not the granite supplier's job to know where the "special" granite slabs are located in their warehouse. We used Mont Granite to select our slab, and they were fantastic, but we took the responsibility of finding the granite listed in the special, and you should do the same. <br /> Also, just FYI -- if the deal ever comes back on Angie's List, the list of colors included is slightly different than the deal listed on their website, but they WILL send you a list prior to purchase.  <br /> Our granite came with our selection of a stainless steel sink. We selected a 60/40 sink and are thrilled with our choice. Of note here is that while they will disconnect your current sink/faucet and put your new sink (and faucet, if you purchased one) in place, they cannot legally hook up the plumbing. You will need to schedule your plumber to come out the next day. This was no issue for us, but just something to keep in mind.  <br /> The installation went flawlessly. I've unfortunately forgotten the installers' names, but they were fantastic and worked with me to make sure I was happy.  <br /> I would absolutely use this company again -- in fact, I just might do that for some smaller jobs we have planned next year.  <br /> Thanks, Quarry Granite! <br />"

"This is the first time I hired a contractor to do work and I was a bit nervous and I would definitely hire AMERICAN RENOVATION MASTERS again. The owner Tim put my mind at ease with his professionalism and friendly manor. The crew was excellent. They arrived on time and did an amazing job taking up the old ceramic tile and cement board so the job was done right from the beginning. The crew also installed new baseboards not only in the area they were working but at my request replaced all the baseboards on the first floor. The craftsmanship and detail to the work done showed you that the work was done by master craftsman. I did get 3 estimates from other two companies all of which were very close in total cost.. Also Tim the owner of AMERICAN RENOVATION MASTERS did not have an issue with removing the commode and sink in the half bath and putting them back when the tile work was complete like one of the other companies did. I will be calling them for any future projects. The job was completed in the time quoted."
