The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. "No issues with the technical installation of the range hood they installed for me, everything functions properly and was installed in a timely manner. However, there was damaged to the cabinet where the hood was installed and they never bothered to mention the damage that I found after they had left. Also they failed to remove the protective film off the hood. No issue on the front if the hood but on the sides where it was sandwiched between the cabinet made nearly impossible to remove it cleanly. This should have been common sense to remove the film."
