Electrical Installs, Electrical Repairs
"Try to find anybody who really cares? Mr. Ellis is about as pro as it gets. We have had a couple of electricians with good reputations in the house. They spent a bunch of their effort telling us why the original person who wired this newly built custom home was a moron for this, that and the next thing. Meanwhile, I smoked an outlet and just needed some upgraded stuff. Long story short. Ellis comes in with no BS and a fair price. In one hour, he had every corrected and put in two new switches. This kind of customer service in this economy is rare as hell. Hire Ellis or if you want me to vouch feel free to call me. I've been a company president, and led a multinational organization for three decade. I would hire this young man as an employee. He will be on to bigger and better, so if you need solid home electrical guidance and work, Ellis is your guy today."

Electrical Services
"I was given an estimate in a timely manner. When Michael arrived we reviewed what was to be done. The work was done efficiently and professionally. At completion, all that was done was explained and questions answered. Michael made sure all important electrical components were working properly. He is a talented, professional electrician. I would use his services again."

"In the midst of remodeling I discovered that squirrels had completely decimated the Romex in the attic of a city duplex. New soffits already done and Squirrels removed I went hunting for a good electrician to remedy the problem. Mark and his crew did so in 2 days with a complete rewire and a new Square D panel with dual function breakers at a great price. I've got to hand it to them for how neat and organized the wiring turned out. I'll hire them again in a heartbeat if I need anything else."

"So happy we chose R&D for our exterior wall repairs! they were great to work with throughout the process of what turned out to be a complicated issue. Their communication was really appreciated as they dug into things and problem solved some unique issues with how the previous home owners had cut corners on the house. R&D wasn’t the cheapest initial bid we received but I have no doubt that we would have wound up paying more in the end for a lower quality result with anyone else. Thanks guys!"

Industrial Electrical, Residential Electrical, Commercial Electrical
"Anthony was very attentive to my project on an old building. He sought out a safe and viable solution to change out an old fuse box and relocate with a new breaker box. He was quick with a response to my request, inspection and quickly gave a solution with a quote. Once I accepted, he scheduled my work right away. He was also prompt on the day of installation and did the work professionally and quickly. I recommend A & A Electric and I would even recommend Anthony to my family and friends. - Pastor Jeff"

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
