"Highly recommend! Scot and Lynne are excellent to work with. We have a large 1,800sf patio poured in 2005 which was in serious need of restoration. Scot first came out and assessed the issues in detail. Next his team came out and thoroughly cleaned/prepped the surface of the slab. Scot then worked with us to select a stain which most closely matched the original color of the concrete (the match literally turned out to be exact.) Finally, he and Lynne carefully applied two coats of the stain, followed by two coats of a clear sealer containing a non-slip component. The finished result is gorgeous, worth every penny and even better than expected! We could not be happier. If you need concrete restoration don't look any further. Scot and Lynne will deliver."

"
Craig met with us to scope the project, explain the process, show us color options, and provide an estimate for the work. He was punctual and provided great input. His was the only company among those we interviewed that provided base trim - your choice of 4" or 6" sections that run along the perimeter of the floor and up the walls. It adds cost, but it really enhances the finished product. Craig followed up with the estimate that evening.

My wife and I were undecided on color. Craig mentioned that he would on the road the following Monday and could drop by to show us the options again, including some new combinations. With his help, we selected the tuxedo - black and white flakes on a grey background - and elected to add silver glitter to add depth to the finished floor.

Craig provided us with references, since the number of reviews for his company on Angie's List was limited to less than a handful due to the short time that Garage Innovations has been included in Garage Floor Sealer (Epoxy Flooring). What was impressive was not only the glowing recommendations, but that these references responded immediately.

The overall cost of going with Garage Innovations, even adding the base trim and glitter options, was very competitive.

Craig mentioned that a slot opened up that Friday and he could schedule us in. Although we were in no particular hurry, the opportunity to finish earlier than anticipated was appreciated.

The work staging was impressive. Garrett was the first arrive and completed the grinding to prepare the surface for the primer coat and the initial concrete repair. Prior to grinding, Garrett put up plastic to protect the door from the house to the garage. He also taped around the door track touching the floor so it would not be sealed with the floor coating.

At this stage, two more technicians arrived to assist in installing the base trim, complete the concrete repairs (the cracks were filled in with up to three coats of patching material), and begin installing the floors coating..

Once the base trim and repairs were complete the technicians worked quickly to put down the primer coat. The roll of each technician was well choreographed so the work went quickly and they did not get in each others way.

Once the primer coat had cured sufficiently, the Garage Innovations team applied the second coat that would hold the color flakes and glitter. Our garage is not huge, but they spread 6-7 large buckets of flakes on the floor to ensure coverage.

The base trim took more time than anticipated and we agreed with the crew's recommendation to return on Saturday rather than work into the night.

Garrett and another technician arrived at the appointed time on Saturday. It took them about three hours to complete the install - vacuuming excess flakes, scraping to level the flakes, and applying the third coat of polyaspartic.

They did a great job in cleaning up the job site. When Garrett had to enter the house, he always put on booties to protect the floor, which was appreciated.

Watching the Garage Innovations team work brought home the fact that this us definitely not a DIY project. The finished floor looks amazing and has garnered the attention of some of our neighbors.

"

"
We installed a large wooden deck at the back of our house about 10 years ago, using high-grade pressure treated lumber. For the first 7 years I used oil-based stain, but was hoping to find a product, which was easier to use. I came across the marketing brochures of a well known paint company's Waterborne Deck Stain, and the pictures looked wonderful. As a result I purchased the product 3 years ago and applied it to the deck. At first it looked wonderful, but within a year the paint had started to chip and flake, particularly where there were knots in the wood. Another coat seemed to help for a short while, but at the end of two years the deck looked worse. After complaining, a company expert came to our house, advised me on applying a more opaque coat of paint (he provided the paint without cost), but indicated that his solution would probably not be a permanent fix. This spring the deck looked worse than ever--chipping and flaking randomly.

We decided to have Deji Harrison give us a quote for refinishing the deck.. We are extremely pleased with the results. Deji is exceedingly conscientious, and takes pride in his workmanship. He is a stickler for detail-- and quot;good enoughand quot; is not part of his vocabulary. He covered up all the bushes near the deck, and protected the house where it met the deck. He and his helpers also helped us to move deck furniture, and they cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and upon completion of the job.

We will certainly use his services in the future, and would recommend him without any reservation to others who want quality workmanship at a fair price.

"

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Fall City, WA

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
