We had the unfortunate experience, after receiving a water bill six times higher than usual, to learn that we had a slab leak. Different options were explained to us, no pressure was applied. Since our house is over 60 years old, we decided to have our entire first floor repiped rather than jackhammering the problem location and just replacing a small section of the pipe.
