"We used Apex years ago at our old house, and they did a great job. Pat, then-owner, was very nice, pleasant, and fair in pricing. His workers did a wonderful job. Fast forward to the present and our current home: started off with a leaky pipe fitting. I called Apex, despite Google listing the business as "permanently closed" - I assure you, it is not! Please ignore that and give them a call for any roofing needs. This time, I worked with Jared, Pat's son. He was equally as, if not more, pleasant, fair, and super easy to work with. He responded in a very timely manner, set very realistic expectations for getting work done, and worked closely with us to make sure our heated driveway didn't get damaged from all the work. We never felt like he was price-gouging or trying to take advantage of us at all. Work was completed in a very timely and professional manner, and all the workers were very pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to call Apex again for any issues with our roof, as I found them incredibly competitive and I love supporting local businesses. Since it was going to rain before they could get to the job they came out and patched all the holes they could and covered areas that needed covering. On the day of work they diligently covered everything with tarp around the outside and put protective boards up around the windows. Am I able to complete my small Royal oak bungalow in 3 and 1/2 hours?."

"On Tuesday, October 28, at about 2:20 p.m., two representatives from Power Home Remodeling came to my home in Madison Heights, Michigan — a white male named Dustin and a white female driving a vehicle with Michigan license plate EYC 5730. They ignored my clearly posted “No Soliciting” sign, which even lists the city ordinance number, and the female solicitor knocked on my door anyway. When I answered, their initial sales pitch was that they had just completed a job in the neighborhood — a tactic that shows if you hire them, they will harass your neighbors to drum up more work. I confronted them immediately and informed them they were in violation of Madison Heights Ordinance §7-68, which explicitly prohibits soliciting at any residence displaying a “No Soliciting” sign — permit or not. The two clearly knew they were in the wrong, because as soon as I told them I was calling the police, they stopped knocking on doors and fled straight to their car a couple blocks away. I followed them to obtain their license plate number and encountered their supervisor, another white male, who argued aggressively, insisting their permit allowed them to ignore “No Soliciting” signs — a completely false claim and a clear display of ignorance of the law. The supervisor’s behavior was arrogant and unprofessional, defending conduct that is plainly illegal under the city ordinance. I have video evidence of the encounter and have filed a formal report with the Madison Heights Police Department and City Clerk’s Office, including the vehicle details and company name. A company whose representatives harass neighbors for business, and whose supervisor defends breaking the law, shows no respect for homeowners, property rights, or the community. Avoid Power Home Remodeling at all costs — if this is how they behave before earning your business, imagine how they’ll treat your neighbors and you afterward."

"Hired Tittle to come out and replace and install a new sliding patio door. A kind gentleman came out to to do the job and notified me and my wife that there was rotting wood that needed to be replaced after he already removed the entire door and frame. He estimated it to be about $300 but after calling up his boss, Greg Tittle (the owner). He said that it would actually be an additional $600. We simply couldn?t afford that amount so we agreed to have the old door put back on over the phone with a lady named Chelsea who was very rude to my wife as they were discussing how to sort all of this out. The kind installer let us know that he couldn?t put the old door back on and instead placed a slab of plywood on the gaping hole in the back of our house. We were forced to allow them to do so as we have 3 small children living in the house and can?t have a giant hole exposing us to the climate outside. We?re just very distraught of how they handled this situation and we would like to hold the"
