"The construction done by Lucky and his sons was excellent! The new addition was built stronger than our house! I don’t know that we could have a better job from anyone else. We met Lucky after speaking with 8 other contractors, he had already googled our house so he had an idea of the job before he got here whereas the other contractors wanted pictures first. I liked his confidence and knowledge and he was also an engineer which was reflected in his workmanship. His design was better then we expected or even thought of. As a general contractor he doesn’t always do the site work but he was here much of the time checking on the job. His two sons did most of the hard work and not only were they extremely knowledgeable they were very pleasant to have working in your home. Lucky expected a lot from any of his subcontractors any made sure it was done right and calling them back if he wasn’t satisfied (the concrete guys did a sloppy job on the exterior concrete, not affecting the construction just the outside look of it. Lucky made them come back and fix it without us even having to ask. Anything we asked he went above and beyond to do. Lucky’s contract was the most detailed contract we’d seen protecting both parties. The job took one month longer then expected which I’m sure is normal in construction but due to issues out of his control, like two hurricanes. His initial quote was within the same range as most the others. The job ran $5,000 over budget but that was due to changes made and cost involved was explained first with the option to move forward with it or not. Things like we were going to try and save an existing sliding door that was 28 years old we changed to a nice French door that of course was an additional cost. A budget was set up and explained at the signing of the contract and some things ran higher then projected like concrete, the family room was built over an existing Florida room so the concrete had to be leveled to bring the floor up so there was no longer a step down which cost more. The budget cost was based on a step down which we changed deciding wanted it level. Extra costs were from our changes. If we had not made changes we would have been on budget. I don’t think construction is ever a pleasant experience but I think Lucky and his team got us through it. We most certainly would hire him again."

Javier even went over which sorts of items, files, boxes, etc. That I wanted to store, and made sure to proportion spaces accordingly. Incredibly durable painted / colored surfaces, even with my kids banging step stools into them. HUNDREDS of colors to choose from. Patient, careful design and installation, and any small issues (which were mostly due to the poor original construction of the old kitchen cabinets that they had to work around or repair) were corrected quickly. Javier make his gorgeous design form match the function that you need, and doesn't try to upsell just to make money. I have SO MANY new projects I want him to do, including my mom's new tiny house. I WON'T LET ANYONE ELSE TOUCH MY CABINETRY. Photos DO NOT do it justice."

"Davide was outstanding in every regard. He politely advised me that he'd be running a few minutes late, was prepared to do the work when he arrived and took time talking to me about exactly how I wanted the towel rack to look and what my options were. He hung it perfectly, even installing a washer so it wouldn't wobble on the wall. He took the door hinges off and spent quite a bit of time trying to repair them so that the door would close properly. After much effort, he advised me that at least one of the hinges was in disrepair and needed to be replaced. He explained what my husband needed to purchase and how to ensure a proper fit on the door. I am extremely pleased with his work and his pleasant demeanor. I would not hesitate to hire him again, and I highly recommend him to those that need handyman work performed."

Joe provided an estimate & broke the cost of labor and materials into 3 payments. When we agreed to an addendum, the work increased the value of the project. We have to express our satisfaction with the remodel of floors, walls, ceilings, kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms, even new skirting around the bottom. His shower and tub tile work looks gorgeous. Kitchen cabinets and counters were beautifully installed. Initially, I called Somerville because his Deltona location made more sense than hiring someone who had to drive from Orlando. We are beyond satisfied with this large scale remodel."
