"A&D did excellent work from start to finish, from remediating and drying the flooded areas to repairing and restoring the damaged areas. My wife and I were impressed by the close communication throughout the process: we always knew who would be coming to the house, when they would be coming, and what they would be doing. At the outset, they said the remediation and repair would take up to six weeks, and it actually took about four, beating their timeline by two weeks. The work was high quality throughout - they promised everything would look as it did before the accident, and they delivered. We would definitely use them again."

"Upon uncovering a leak during a rain, I emailed Maximus Contracting through Angie's List. They were my 3rd email sent but the previous 2 had other things going on and couldn't accommodate the 1-2 day appointment I needed to prevent further leak damage. Eric (Owner) was very responsive and responded to my email quickly. Upon return call, he said he could have someone there that day. Leo arrived and immediately assessed the situation and explained the required repairs to me. Upon his call to Eric and then Eric's call to me to discuss the repair cost, I was very satisfied with the agreed-to price. Eric even had Leo caulk the vent above the garage with no increase in cost. Leo left to get materials and returned in about 20 minutes. The actual repairs took him about 1.5 hours and after cleaning up, he was there for about 3 hours. The weather looked like rain and it did rain that evening and the next day, so I am grateful to Eric for answering my email and acting promptly. I will go back to Maximus General Contracting for any future home repairs.

"this is the second time we have had Legacy work on our home. Our home was built in 1992 and the windows and doors were not looking as good as we wanted. This time around we replaced 12 windows and two doors. Legacy also painted a fence for us and replaced some cedar that was bad"

I talked with the and quot;head guyand quot; about my roof indicating I had lost several shingles and he said he would come and check it out. I had purchased an Angies List voucher for a roof inspection and minor repair. We discussed this and I understood it, of course, would not include roofing.

After touring my roof he said all the roof cap shingles would have to be replaced and gave me a price. No, he did not discount the $79 I had paid for the AL voucher(?). Seemed to think that was okay. Said it would take x number of shingle bundles. He left for quite a while...said he crew would be there within 30 minutes..wrong again. He arrives, crew arrives. Heard him and crew talking and crew said it wouldn't take nearly that many bundles. He comes in to leave and collect (before job is completed). I said not paying until job is done, besides heard the conversation so need to change price. We did.

Overall, he was arrogant, indifferent and not pleasant to deal with. However, his crew was wonderful. Worked hard and at the end did some extra for me. I feel sorry for them having to work for such a pompous person.
