"There was a little glitch in that repairman somehow didn't write down the original appointment, but when I called back they came the same day.  I had called East Coast for a "second opinion" for my son's AC.     The first company that came that originally installed AC had told him that a compressor was bad...and then shortly after insisted two compressors be replaced = at $1800.    I was leery because both ductless wall units had no power, and even though I'm not a knowledgeable enough person when it comes to home repair, I think it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know t if there's no power to two units, there's probably an electrical problem.   Unfortunately my son is young, inherited this house at a young age, and  he's vulnerable to being taken advantage of, and unfortunately it appears that's exactly what happened.
So East Coast came in basically restored my faith that there are truly honest people out there.  The compressor/s appeared fine and he said it was a faulty connection.  He reconnected  the wire from the condensor unit to the electric source, cleaned out the filters and actually showed my son the proper way to do it as well as pointing out what was wrong.  He was there for about 1.5 hrs, and the price was in line with what an electrician would charge .The AC now works great.  Thanks East Coast - you're AAA+ in my book.  You saved the "bank of Mom" alot of money too.

"Timing was of the essence as it was the Martin Luther King holiday coming up and the coldest day of the year so far. Arik came in on Thursday to evaluate the situation and quickly started making phone calls and getting measurements for the replacement unit. The unit was delivered on Saturday and customized ducks were created to fit the new unit. Arik arrive promptly on Sunday morning and in 4 hours he had the unit working. The thermostat was replaced and the units on-off switch needed some electrical work. Arik is very professional and quick to respond to text or phone call. The unit needed some adjustments which were done a week later. All is working fine. I highly recommend Arik as he is efficient and gets the job done."
