Small jobs welcome

"We are very happy with the service and the value. Daniel has some really experienced subcontractors in his arsenal and was able to help us achieve a substantial renovation at a very reasonable price. He was flexible as our design plans changed and had good ideas and pushed us to do a couple larger projects that we were a bit uncertain about until we understood how feasible it was to accomplish. The results speak for themselves."

"Timber Peaks Construction did an exceptional job building a stage in our community room. This space serves many people throughout the week, so quality and durability were extremely important to us. Timber Peaks delivered on every level. The craftsmanship is excellent, the project was completed in a timely manner, and their team was professional and easy to work with. We are thankful for their partnership and highly recommend them for any construction needs."

"This was no small project and this contractor is not typical... a second floor deck around 3 sides of a 6 bedroom house done in a way I could park a car on the deck. Workmanship was 5 star, worked full days, used quality materials and the fit and finish is beyond our expectations. Phil and his crew are AMAZING!! I only have pictures of the two additional projects, one a storage area and the other an eating area built on top of a tree with a 1.5" gap between deck and tree platform to conform to code. Non better to do business with!"

"B3 Construction owner Bob Harris and his crew were awesome. Bob installed all new windows in our Flagstaff home. He was prompt with his quote and aggressive in his pricing. He was also very helpful with his recommendation for the type of window to install. The crew were professional, very careful about protecting the inside of our home and cleaning up at the end of each day. The windows look great and we are very happy with both the product and the installation."

"I am very disappointed with my experience with this scam company. They verbally quoted a price range of $10K–$20K, but later billed me $31K without providing any updated estimates or seeking approval. They also assured me there would be no issues with my insurance, which turned out to be false. My insurance company also found Rocky Mountain Restoration’s pricing to be well above industry standards and refused to cover the full $31K. Another company quoted $12K for the same work, and my insurance determined that a fair price is $23,859.46. I am misled and overcharged, and I cannot recommend them based on this experience."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Flagstaff, AZ

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
