"Handyman Carpentry came through for me and my family! Our door was kicked in and I needed to feel safe immediately. Mr. Kevin came through with a fast response, and great work. He kept in contact throughout the entire time! Reasonable and fair pricing. This was an emergency for me and Mr. Kevin and his squad came through. We will definitely be calling on him again for more carpentry and home improvement jobs! Thank you and I pray nothing but growth and success for you and your business!!"

"Robert and his crew did some extensive remodeling for my needs. He installed a new full bathroom, remodeled one bathroom for wheelchair access, and remodeled a third bathroom. His crew installed new tile floors, and repaired the old tile floors. They installed wide doors exterior doors to accommodate wheelchair. And they enclosed a patio into an insulated sun-room. Robert was easy to work with, and was real reasonable. He also did a lot of work under Veterans Administration and ADA guidelines and was qualified and approved to do veteran Adapted Housing. I highly recommend Robert and his crew."

"We tried to get the quotes for remodeling the 400 SQFT Texas basement from Angie's list. USR is one of few who responded to me with "yes we can do it". Rest of them either ignored me or told me that they never did this kind of work. USR also gave us the best quote among all. The whole process went smoothly. The boss checked the progress every day to make sure that it was on track. The workers would even work on the weekends per our request. The boss also gave us a lot of good ideas (e.g., creating more storage room which we will need in the future). We had some misunderstanding at the very end of the project. The boss clarified it to us very well and resolved the problems in a timely fashion. Overall, we are very satisfied and will hire the contractor again. Attached are the before and after pictures of the room. I absolutely enjoy the remodeled room."

"Shane and his team were great to work with to repair our roof leak. He was prompt in providing us with a quality estimate and included pictures of areas he was concerned about. His team completed the job effectively and he sent me pictures of repairs at different stages of progress so I could see exactly what they were doing. Highly recommended - would definitely hire again."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Florence, TX

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
