"Owner José Alvarez was very knowledgeable and professional. He showed up on time and quickly identified the cause of our refrigerator draining into the vegetable bins. He advised us to keep the refrigerator turned off until the updated drainage kit was available to avoid damage to our fridge that would've cost over $100 to fix on top of the original repair. Sure enough, he returned in a week and quickly installed the updated drainage kit and viola! No more leaking! As for the dishwasher door, he told us at his first visit that the fix was simply to lubricate the door with silicone (vs. WD 40 like we first thought of doing) since silicone dries immediately. He didn't have this product with him, but applied it during his 2nd visit which completely fixed the problem and eliminated the spine-jarring noise every time we opened or closed our dishwasher door. PLUS, he didn't charge us for fixing our dishwasher door issue! Mr. Alvarez fully explained the cause of the issue with this make and model of fridge for the year is was made as well as the cause of the dishwasher door problem. He was extremely knowledgeable and experienced! We will not only contact him again should the need arise, but we will also recommend him to others who need their major appliance repaired!"

"I will not be using Tasco again for my air conditioning needs. I recently agreed to have them replace a faulty expansion valve in my relatively new system, which they had installed. The expansion valve was free (a warrantied product). They used 2 lbs. of freon. They also installed a $38 dollar dryer. The two technicians spent a total of 1 hour and 13 minutes to complete the work. The estimate to complete the work was $1200.00. You would think that this company would cut me a better deal for warranty work. Upon completion of the work, I requested an itemized bill. Later that day, the owner stated they do not give out itemized bills and that he charges a flat rate for his services. After arguing wth him for a short time he stated that because I agreed to his estimate there was nothing to argue about. If you charge a flat rate why would there be an estimate? When I started using Tasco, they had an A rating- it is now down to a B. Do yourself a favor and go with a better company that is cheaper. Make sure you get an itemized bill. You can look up the cost of every part online. I never minded paying a premium for good service, but this is ridiculous."
