No issues thereafter. 2026: We had to replace a garage door for my mom and we decided to use them again for this new project...and I'm so glad we did. The reason was that the original had snapped after only three years, and while it could have been defective, the thought was that a spring slightly larger than that recommended by the manufacturer would create a better system. He also explained to me that there was no reason to replace the other at this point and that there would be no future savings in the case I did, that I would be charged the same now as later since the second diagnostic fee would be waived. Naturally, he made certain that the tension for both the new right torsion spring and the old left torsion spring was the same.
