"Mike came over and took a look at our deck giving us his vision on how he would proceed. He used top notch materials for all the work. His workmen are very professional and on time every day. They worked on the hottest days in the summer and I even had to almost chase one of them home because it was too hot to work. My husband and I wanted some electrical pulled to install lights and they did it without a blink of an eye. Still they finished ahead of their projected time line. The craftsmanship is stellar. We had a slight issue after the completion of the job and they came out to fix everything while we were on vacation. The most impressive thing we noticed was Mike was there almost daily to supervise, roll up his sleeves and help his crew. He must put hundreds of miles on his vehicle to make sure all his crews are doing as they were instructed. And the relationships are extremely cohesive. "<p>Whole house remodel issues? <br /> Thankfully not too much to report here. I lived in the house, moving from floor to floor as the work was done. There were only a few things to mention: Some of the contractors were neater than others. The HVAC guys never totally cleaned up after themselves. There was ductwork pieces left all over the place. When the drywalling was finished I vacuumed out the ducts to remove nails, drywall pieces, spackle, etc. as no one seemed to have done this. An ornamental window in the foyer was broken accidently when the original walls were being removed - this was replaced at no charge. There was an issue when the walls were being replaced around the old thermostat, causing the furnace blower (AC) to freeze up and then melt and flood the new pergo floor around the furnace. A furnace guy was called right away, thermostat replaced, furnace checked, flooring dried and repaired in a couple spots (still pops once in a while when walking over that area). There was no charge to us for handling this issue. Some of the sub-contractors were very and quot;uniqueand quot;, but all seemed to be good at what they were there to do. Everything was clean and all debris was stored on our property in a trailer for a time and hauled away after all was complete. </p> <br /> Soffit Beam repair? No issues at all. <br /> Master Bath remodel? <br /> Some nails popped in the ceiling of the room below the bathroom. John came out to sand and spackle the nail pops a couple of days after calling him. Some of the grout has broken off in the shower and one or two small spots on the edges of the flooring. I will repair, not a big issue. <br /> All in all - Bella Vista Contractors know how to get a project done correctly and pretty much on time. Plus they have a great attitude and are all around decent guys - a bonus. <br />"

"Contractor started work on the date we requested, and arrived punctually each work day. They did an excellent job taking down the old deck, pouring new footers (old deck had none!), and building the the supporting sub-structure. We requested the new deck be built using Trex (TM) composite materials, and the carpenter was able to quickly put down the new Trex flooring. <br /> We also asked for the existing roof line be extended to cover the entire deck, and the extended roof be supported using decorative, fiberglass columns. The carpenter's excellent skills resulted in in a deck that was transformed from a warped, splintery wooden deck, to a beautiful new deck completely covered by an extended roof line. Vinyl railings were installed between the fiberglass columns, and a ceiling fan was also installed. New gutters and downspouts were added to handle the runoff from the deck roof. <br /> The project took 6 weeks (some delay due to more rain than usual). But, we had the deck up and running for Memorial Day weekend, and are delighted with it all. The new columns add a touch of elegance, and the vinyl and Trex materials give us a deck that is very low maintenance. We are extremely pleased with the work, and the gentleman who did the work. <br />"
