"Mark was ill for his first appointment but did call to reschedule, which I very much appreciated. He came to my house, on time, for his rescheduled appointment to look at my door. It had not been closing for years. He did a temporary fix, which helped in the interim, but he told me the door needed to be rehung. He did not charge me until his worker, John, came out and rehung the door. It works perfectly now, better than when it was first installed. I learned from Mark on his first visit that his business is a kind of handyman service too. In addition to fixing the door, John did some other odd jobs for me. He worked hard and did good work. I was not excited about the caulking job he did, so I took off a 1/2 star for that. I only took off a half star because he did many other jobs and did professional work on the rest. My only other complaint is that on the two occasions John came out, I was told he would be here at 9 am. Both times, Mark contacted me to say he had scheduled John elsewhere first thing in the morning. I appreciate that Mark's communication was good and kept in contact about schedule changes. That is not the norm for contractors, in my experience. I just would have liked for John to be here both days for the FULL day so more could have been accomplished. However, i was only charged for the time he worked, so I can't complain about that. Overall, I would recommend MHK."

"We met with Morning Star and picked the windows we wanted. Very satisfied with the warranty and they also told us about the rebates we would be getting. That was a plus. We picked a date while it was still cold out and they agreed with us that when the first break in descent weather came, they would come out and install the windows. At first I was apprehensive to believe that would happen. But sure enough they called me to schedule the installation. After installation we discovered we need another window replace that was bad. They are coming back just to install one window. Only one thing that is not included in the cost, is the trim, so there was a little extra charge. I found out all the window companies do that.

"It went great! I called on a Monday around noon, and Paul came out that evening to give me a quote on 2 replacement garage doors and 2 new, quieter openers. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me, while still making me aware of the best options available. The price he quoted was by far the most reasonable estimate I received. "After a great experience with Wood Rot Solutions last Winter when I had 6 windows rebuilt and re-framed, I did not hesitate to call JD with another wood rot job.
They arrived on time, and worked efficiently.
They removed the old rotten wood, built a new vent assembly on my front walk, and carefully lifted it into place, 28' off the ground.
While up there, they noticed some of my new, 2nd story windows (Installed by another company) had NO caulk on the top edges of their frames, and when they were finished installing the new vent, they caulked the windows as well.
JD is a detail oriented, hard worker who does his best to make sure that the job is done right, and done once, as his motto says.

"The price was good. They did a good job on the installation. I have tried to get hold of them a couple of times since and I haven't been able to get them. I was very happy with the service when I had them but I wanted them to adjust something and I haven't heard back from them."

"Our house was built in 1998 and came with Alenco builder grade windows with only a 10 year warranty. Most of them have gone bad since then so buyer beware on that brand. Kyle was great to work with, quick to respond and did great work on the final install. Our house now has clear windows and I am sure they will work out great.

The laid plastic to keep my carpet and floors clean. When the were done, they asked me to inspect the work before signing off. I appreciated the speed of service as well as the quality. "Joe (the owner) came out for an estimate and was very informative with his presentation.  He brought examples and walked us through the whole process.  Our house is a 1970's ranch and we had old windows and an old sliding glass door that really needed to be updated. Before we decided on the type of siding we wanted, he gave us some examples of the houses he had done and we were very impressed.  We really liked the fact he did not try to sell us on unneeded upgrades and was very upfront on his bid to us.  We did not feel like he was trying to just over price his products.  On the first day, Joe and his crew came out  when it was raining and believe it or not in one day they had all 15 windows and the sliding glass door installed.  I must say the windows are very nice and the triple pane sliding glass door is awesome.  The siding that was installed was done with very little seams that are hardly visible.  We have a 2500 square foot home and we counted 8 seams on the house.  It looks great and they even did the chimney box on the roof.  Joe and his crew were very respectful and attentive to every detail.  They always ensured that every detail was how we wanted.  They cleaned up the area very well after the job was done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone."
