"He was very helpful, even when we had a question about another appliance while he was here. He even called me back with correct part numbers to order for that appliance since we decided not to invest in a repair with an older appliance."

"Excellent work ethic, the best I’ve ever had thus far. They installed an over the range microwave oven that replaced the original that no longer worked. I will have them back anytime I need appliance installations."

"Yesterday, I spoke to Taylor from Appliance Repair Now. Taylor owns this business and yesterday’s conversation was the second of two. I originally called to discuss options on repair of a refrigerator. A piece broke off the molded insert from inside one of the doors. Taylor took time from his busy schedule to discuss repair options. He provided answers directly responsive to my questions. He was very thorough, patient, personable - all of the qualities that a customer hopes to find in an appliance repair technician. After reflecting on our repair options and in my second call, we discussed my decision to purchase a new refrigerator. Taylor indicated that my wife and I had chosen a model from a solid company that provided a good product. He also educated me on the workings of a manufacturer’s warranty and extended warranties. He explained that because of how these warranties work, we are unable to retain Taylor’s service for installation or service during the manufacturer’s warranty. Words cannot express my disappointment. Today my wife and I purchased a refrigerator and it will be delivered tomorrow. I only spoke with Taylor on the phone. But the knowledge I gained from our conversations allowed my wife and I to purchase a refrigerator that we will be happy with and the satisfaction that we can retain a competent appliance service technician for post-warranty repairs. For the reason I’ve previously described and without any reservation or doubt, I highly recommend Taylor and Appliance Repair Now."

"My gas stove continuously kept clicking and we couldn't turn it off.  We unplugged the stove and called appliance fix.  They came out the same day and surprisingly the problem was not occurring anymore when they plugged the stove back on.  He said he could replace the burner but his hunch was that water had dripped on the burner and had caused the problem.  He told me next time to just unplug, clean the burner and then turn on.  He was fare and didn't automatically offer to replace burner. I did have to pay $75 fee for them to come out.  I will use this company again.

"The highlight of the experience was the worker who handled the delivery and installation. Brandon was incredibly friendly and professional, arriving right on time and ensuring that everything was set up perfectly. He took the time to explain all the features and made sure I was completely satisfied before he left. His kindness and attention to detail really stood out. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend both the appliance and the service!"

"Dan has his own way of doing things and isn't too interested in your input. Examples: 1. Ignored my request to put cardboard on marble floor before pulling out old refrigerator--result-scratches on floor and 2. Installed microwave and never turned it on--unit turned out to be defective and has to be pulled out and serviced. On the other hand Dan is prompt, has fair prices, and moves quickly."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Fort Worth, TX

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
