"I had a wonderful experience working with this company from start to finish. The sales rep was awesome and very responsive. The company was very professional and came through on all their promises. They were very accommodating with installation as I was living up North and had to schedule a trip to my home in Boynton Beach to get this completed. They installation team was awesome. They left no mess behind!! I had every window and door replaced in my home. Overall wonderful experience. I would highly recommend."

"I requested that a 20x20 screen mesh be used on the top part of the screen enclosure, because I have a lot of pine trees and the pine needles hang through a 18x14 screen mesh (their normal screening). They said because of hurricane Irma the 20x20 mesh was not available, so I agreed to wait until they could get it (a couple of months) I told them in the mean while I was going to bump out the screen frame to include a planter to be inside the screen enclosure. This was fully disclosed to them and they offered to get the metal for me and they declined doing that when it came time to deliver. When the screen arrived and they actually replaced the screening, they put 20x20 screen on the top, but not on top of the screen bump out. After 5 days, I called and asked them to come back and put 20x20 screen over the bump out. They left a few phone messages, acting like they did not understand what I was asking and never called and talked to me directly. One of their selling points was they would return and fix any problems for 5 years and the reality is they would not come back after 5 days. I have attached two pictures showing why I insisted on 20x20 screen. The picture shows three weeks accumulation of pine needles, imagine what it will look like after 6 months or a year. In one picture you see the accumulation of pine needles on the 18x14 mesh and the panel above it with 20x20 mesh is clean. They did good work, but I guess any deviation from their norm means they will do it their way and not treat their customer as well as they said they would. When you call them they never answer the phone, you always have to leave a message and wait for them to call back. I did not rate them on price, I did not shop around, I prefer to use local small businesses and do not know if the price was good or not."

"Took two calls but they came out - it was the answering service issue. My screen door had their sticker in it so I figured who else better to call. Jim Trimble was prompt and gave us a very reasonable quote. They had a cancellation on the schedule and got me the following week. Israel did a great job on the rescreen and resecuring frame that it looks brand new. Very happy with the work and very happy with quality and price. I will invite them back in the future for other work. Thank you again."

"I contacted Tom for an estimate for repairs, my wife gave him the okay to perform the necessary work. He came during the next day or two and completed the installation of new screens. Very minor concern, we were not contacted when the work was to be done. I did call him afterwards and sent him a check for the balance."

FAQs for door or window screens install or repair projects in Fort Pierce, FL

Most off-the-shelf screens come in fixed sizes, ranging from 18 inches by 20 inches to 36 inches by 74 inches, which fit the vast majority of residential windows. If your opening falls outside that range or has a unique shape, you’ll need a custom screen built to the exact measurements. Going custom ensures a secure fit, a solid barrier against bugs, and a clean, finished look.

The decision to repair or replace your screen depends on the extent of the damage. Small holes or tears in otherwise solid mesh can be patched, and a sturdy frame usually doesn’t need to go anywhere. However, once the frame is bent or the mesh is brittle and fraying in several spots, replacement becomes a more sensible option—and often proves to be less costly in the long run. Take a close look at both parts before making a decision.

To rescreen a window, start by prying out the old spline, then lift the torn mesh from the frame. Lay the new screen over the frame, allowing about an inch of excess on all sides, and hold it in place while pressing fresh spline into the groove with a roller. Check that the mesh is taut—many pros rest a small brick on it while they work—then trim the overhang with a utility knife.

Most window screens last for 10 to 12 years. Time, sun, and weather gradually make the mesh brittle, so you’ll start to see sagging, rips, or thinning spots that let bugs get through. Check the screens each season; if the mesh crumbles or the frame warps, it’s time to replace them to keep air flowing and pests outside.

Most pros can swap out a screen in 10 minutes to an hour. A quick pop‑in replacement goes fastest, while fitting new mesh into an existing frame or working on a hard‑to‑reach upper window adds time. Either way, plan for at least a few extra minutes per screen so the installer can verify the fit and ensure the spline is seated correctly.
