"We originally planned to just replace two bathtubs. Phil responded quickly--even tho this was just a small job for them. The price was so reasonable compared to one other quote we received that we decided to also replace the flooring, vanity and wall mirror. We thought we'd need to replace our shower door, too; but Phil was able to fix rather than replace it, saving us considerable money. Phil an Ashley listened to our ideas and offered a few ideas on different approaches, most of which we readily agreed to. "After a high-pressure sales pitch presented as an estimate, a "3 days tops" job turned into a month. The materials are good quality and the overall end result is fine now, but it was a circus during the install! First, someone drove a screw through the wall straight into an electrical outlet on the other side! Thank goodness the house didn't burn down when it shorted out inside the wall. After going back and forth with a supervisor "Aaron" who was never even there during the work, saying that it was an existing problem in the electrical system, it finally got fixed. When there's a brand new 3-inch screw going through the box, that is definitely not an existing wiring problem! Apparently they ran out of the screws they were supposed to be using and tried to improvise... Then, 2 floor tiles were cracked during the job and they had to be replaced. Luckily, the same tiles were in stock at the local big box so it was able to be repaired without changing the entire floor, but tack on another day of work. Then, the shower doors were installed upside down and backwards, so another trip had to be made for that to be remedied AFTER they had to order a completely new set of doors! So for 2 weeks we were shimmying into the shower behind a shelf at the back wall of the bathroom. All in all, for the price you pay for this type of shower, I'd expect the workmanship and attention to detail to be much better. The crew was very nice during the process and did eventually own up to and fix the flubs, but if I had to do it all over again, I'd buy a top of the line kit from a big box and have an independent contractor install it for half the cost. I was also encouraged to leave positive reviews in exchange for a gift card, which would explain a lot of the 5 star reviews around the net..."

"DJ Custom Cabinets (Don Dockery, owner) is a wonderful company to use for custom cabinet work. Last year we thought replacing the kitchen countertops and painting the walls would make our kitchen look more modern. After the work was completed, we realized that we should have replaced the kitchen cabinets as well. We had several contractors look at the cabinets and give us their opinion. We determined that DJ Custom Cabinets was the right team for the job. It was absolutely the right decision! Don has been in this line of business for over 45 years and felt 99% confident that he could put in new kitchen cabinets without removing the new countertops. He built a complex set of braces to hold up the countertops and was successful at removing the lower cabinets without any damage to the new countertops. He then slid the new lower cabinets under the braced countertops with no damage to the countertops. He replaced all the other cabinets as well. It was amazing to watch him do this. The cabinets are beautiful. His work is absolutely the best. Don and his team are great with communication and very respectful. We never had a call that wasn’t answered or returned quickly. He kept us informed throughout the process. The process was explained thoroughly. Timeline for work completion was right on. We highly recommend DJ Custom Cabinets for any custom cabinet work. You won’t be disappointed."

"This was our first project with GH Construction. Later we did the bathroom which we reviewed on earlier. <br /> They showed up on time and gave us a great proposal. We got new tile on the floor, new back splash tile, new granite counter tops, a new dishwasher and a new stove. We also got two new wall scones and a new recesses ceiling lighting. All of which we picked out. <br /> It took a few weeks after all the products were ordered and when they started the entire project took about 10 working days. Every one of those days they showed up on time and worked a full day. The guys who did the work were clean and they walled off the rest of the house with plastic curtains. It really helped with the construction debris and when they went home at night, they cleaned up their area. <br /> All in all it was a great experience and I used them again a month later on our bathroom. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a good contractor to contact G.H. Construction Services."

"I emailed Dr. Loviolette yesterday explaining the problem with the light and/or light switch in the bedroom closet.  I asked if he worked later in the day or on a Saturday.  Within a couple of hours he called me to find out if I'd be home that evening.  Later that night he called to see if he could come by to look at the problem.  Dr. Loviolette came in and tested the wires in the light switch that confirmed the issue, he replaced the light switch and he was gone. <br /> I really appreciate that he was responsive to my time request and would definitely call him again. <br />"
