"Mold One (Ron) did a great job! He was thorough in his examination of my home and helped me understand where I had mold, where I didn't, and what to watch out for after the treatment was completed. The treatment was easy to schedule and more convenient than I thought it would be. I highly recommend Mold One!"

"I wish that I could give them an A+ rating!!! They worked extra hours at odd times as well to make sure that the job was completed to the satisfaction of the condo association and IN TIME for the closing on the sale! They were OUTSTANDING to work with and went above and beyond to complete the work!!"

"Good except didnt change the filter though I left a new one. Not a problem i changed it that night. Also left bag of rags out on front of our garage which I later removed. Not a game breaker but does make me wonder if there are other things I will find. But on a happier note i was generally very satisfied."

"Mike arrived on time. The crew was professional and courteous. Have used others in the past but no one cleaned the ducts and vents as good. The house is now dust free and odor free. They even managed to remove a cigarette package from 1978 from a duct running from basement to 2nd floor.  "

"<p>Eric came out and did a detailed inspection. He was extremely knowledgeable and told us that the mold we were seeing on the beams is what he referred to as "Lumber Yard" mold and had been there for a long time as a result of the lumber sitting on the ground at the lumber yard before it was used to construct our home. He was very confident that the mold was dormant for a very long time and had not spread. He advised that it was not necessary to take any remedial actions but offered that if we wanted to address this for aesthetics perspective he would be happy to do so.</p> <p>His honesty was extremely refreshing as he effectively talked us out of hiring him to do some work that did not need to be done.</p> <p>It's absolutely great to come across contractors with very high integrity as was the case here.</p> <p>We would highly recommend Enviro Clean.</p> <br />"

"Steve called me back the same day and came out the following day to look at the situation. He immediately saw that my window well was not deep enough and during a heavy rain the water was coming in and traveling down between the foundation and the wall of the finished basement - seeping out onto the floor. His diagnosis make total sense to me. He quoted me a very reasonable price to 1) dig out the window well and line it with stone 2) install an extension of my downspout that takes the water several feet away from the house underground. He even designed it around my unground sprinkler system. Excellent service! I would highly recommend this company."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Foster, RI

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
