"We recently completed a basement finishing project with Matrix and are happy with the final result. As with many large remodeling projects, we ran into a few issues along the way. A flooring material delivery delay pushed the project timeline back by a few weeks. The shower panel was scratched during plumbing installation and had to be replaced, and there were several electrical items shown on the plans that required follow-up visits to complete correctly. We didn't discover until after the drywall and painting were finished that the framing team had missed the wood backing specified in the plans for our TV mounts, which was never resolved. Despite these challenges, our site manager, Jim, was responsive, professional, and easy to work with throughout the project. He was available when questions came up and helped address issues as they arose. While the project wasn't without hiccups, Matrix worked to resolve concerns, and we are enjoying our new basement."

"When we signed the Matrix contract in June 28,2018 for basement work we were told it would be done the end of October or the first of November 2018. We told them that was good because we go to Arizona the end of December 2018. When we left all that was done was rough: framing, plumbing, electrical and ceiling. In May 2019 Matrix started work again and finally June 17, 2019 the final inspection was done. If Matrix overbooked jobs, Matrix should let the customer the customer know and not leave them hanging. Being overbooked was probably why the drywall job and the soffit run to cover the ceiling beam was less than professional. "When I contacted Nyboer Builders on October 21st, 2015, they agreed to come take a look at the house so that they could get an idea of what I wanted done and then give me a price estimate. Jay met me there a couple of days later and was able to give me an estimate the next day. I had a couple of other companies give me estimates as well, and Nyboer Builders was the best deal around. The following week I signed a contract to have them do the work. They had their guys there the following Monday. These guys were very courteous and were all hard workers. They made sure that their tools, equipment, and supplies were all placed in a manner that wouldn't cause damage to any of the remainder of the house and property. They were quick to start the work. The men worked from morning to dusk each day no matter the temperatures. I have never seen such professionalism displayed in all my years. The respect they had for each other and their customers is seldom displayed in today's society. At the end of the job, they made sure that everything was cleaned up and there were no stray nails remaining. My roof is beautiful. I haven't had any issues with leaks or loose shingles. I was so impressed with this company, that I am thinking about having them do a kitchen remodel for me this summer. I have also recommended them to some of my friends that have been talking about a remodel of their home.

"They were great, the man did the job, got out. In the winter, when lot of snow was still in the ground of water against the basement and we have a poured foundation, it had leak, they had stopped the leak we had. They did what they pledged to do. They were here on-time, they got done quickly and then they went and the overall seam link that was leaking was about 7 feet from upper part down to the ground, and we are very happy. They did the work they promised to do on time and on budget."
