They weren’t our cheapest option but their unique cost-plus process of contracting, clear & transparent labor rates and discounts saved us thousands on our projects. We have never seen a company operate in this manner, but it just made complete sense to us, and it works extremely well. Along the way we were a bit indecisive and made a few changes which added work to the original scope, increased our budget and timeline, however Douglas immediately shifted into another gear and was able to incorporate our changes within the original design. He is extremely honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable of his trade. His communication skills and integrity were second to none. I don’t know how he handles all the stress, but he makes it look easy. All team members and subcontractors were respectful of us and our home and a pleasure to work with as well. "We originally hired Phil to replace our front porch. It was like 20 years pass due. But the building inspector said we had to move the support posts, which would have made the porch very small. So we decided to extend the entire thing out and we are super happy we did. Phil took care of everything, the design and all that was needed with the building permits. Even two different layouts. He was also here for all 4 building inspections. Yes, there was 4. He ordered all the material, had it delivered. We did not have to lift a finger. The end result is outstanding and we could not be happier. He built it beyond the code requirements so it's very heavy duty and so sturdy. He also added little accents that make it really stand out. Also picture framed the deck and even the stairs, raising it above when it comes to looks. We have gotten so many compliments. Obviously, highly recommend his work."
