"Had a leak that turned into a shower replacement,/upgrade, and ceiling repair. Greg and his son understands how to repair the flaws in these builder homes. Greg worked with us every step of the process. The work space was kept clean and tidy the whole time. I feel he priced the job very competitively."

"Ashbusters did an excellent job of cleaning and repairing my chimney. They also repaired the chimney cap and the cover. They are not cheap but I want professionals who know what they're doing. I highly recommend Ashbusters."

"Everyone reading this should know I am a huge skeptic. I needed a huge job done remotely (I couldn't be there). I also couldn't give the contractors much to go on as it wasn't my building. LONG STORY SHORT, I finally show up to help out, and the job is already complete. The difficult carpet angles I needed with two different colors, the layout in an area we were unfamiliar with, and the expertise of their team coming back out to fix some screwups on the part of a TOTALLY DIFFERENT GROUP was unbelievable. They came out without question and fixed someone else's messes! Didn't charge me a dime extra... Our entire team was absolutely shocked. We cant wait to come back out to that area and work with this crew again!!!"

"Our experience with Eastern Contracting was excellent.  Don Bragg the owner a is very friendly and honest man.  He is also a hard worker and takes pride in a job well done.  The entire team of workers are much the same.  They worked long hours, drove far and put out great work.  They turned our small cabin into a place that my large family can enjoy for years to come.  Did I mention, it is STURDY?  Everything from coming to the house at our convenience, showing samples, giving advice, displaying ideas on software and working with us on the price, are just a few of ways their dedication was displayed.  We were really impressed on how fast the completion came.  Thank you Eastern Contracting........."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Franklin, KY

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
