"The repair seemed to go fine. The dryer work for 2 loads but it made a terrible whining noise after he repaired it that wasn't there before. Then stopped heating again. I completely cleaned out the dryer vent and replaced the hose and it still doesn't work"

"Fantastic! Exactly what I was looking for - wanted to know if it was a quick fix that could keep our 10 year old dishwasher going a little longer or if it was something bigger where we might just replace it. Chris walked me through testing and told me where problem most likely was without having to pull dishwasher out. Now we can confidently put money into new washer instead of spending lots on repair for an old one."

"Saturday morning our dryer lost all its heat. So I posted the job on Angi's list that same morning, figuring we wouldn't get anybody till Monday at the earliest. Five minutes after posting the job, I get a call from Rick from City Appliance Repairs saying he could come out in the afternoon to work on the dryer. He shows up around 5 p.m. and in about 25 minutes our dryer was working like the day we bought it. VERY reasonable charge, with NO upcharge for a weekend visit. I recommend Rick to everybody."

Hi! I am a chemical engineer specializing in industrial utilities by trade who enjoys fixing and building things in my free time. I offer services such as furniture building, home appliance repairs (ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer/dryer, water heater, A/C, furnace, sump pump, etc) small scale plumbing or drainage projects/repairs (exterior storm water drainage, pvc/copper piping- I do not do cast iron, faucets, etc). I can install new appliances, but might need help lifting and setting the appliance (I do not dispose of old appliances). I also can repair kitchen stand mixers such as Kitchen aids (rebuild/regrease).

They say you can't have low cost, high quality, and a quick turnaround. At Clayton contracting, that's exactly what you'll get!

"Excellent...The dryer was up and running within the week, the contact woman was pleasant and helpful, and the gentlemen that came to the house were professional and knew their business. I could not ask for a better experience. They are tops on my list."

"They are thorough in their evaluation of my washer's problem. They gave me an estimate of cost and an estimate of time to do the repair. The job required new parts and they were able to get them, and the job was completed quickly. I will certainly remember them for any future problem and refer them to my friends."

"The previous owners of our new house had a cat.  I'm pretty allergic, so I knew I wanted to have the ductwork cleaned to avoid any reaction.  I read A LOT of reviews and had heard so much about issues with this industry - about work not being performed and about the bait and switch some companies try to pull.  I kept going back to Hi Tech as my top pick.  When I talked to Aaron at Hi Tech, he put all my fears to rest. He explained their process in detail and the fact that they have NO hidden costs or add ons.  It's a set price of $350 for 10 vents and $20 more for each one beyond that.  That's it.
The crew of 2 arrived promptly at the scheduled time, walked through the house to assess the rooms and the basement.  Even though the house was empty, they were very careful and respectful of my home.  The guys worked a solid 4 hours cleaning the ducts.  They showed me inside one of the basement lines with their phone camera so I could see how it looked afterwords.  After they took the equipment outside, they even showed me the filter and pile of dirt they vacuumed out.  It wasn't too terribly dirty, but enough so that I'm sure glad I called Hi Tech.  I feel like this was money well spent.
Seriously, don't hesitate to hire these guy!
