"The job went very well and looked better than I imagined. I had a traditional pressure treated deck that was built 25 years ago. Maintenance was a nightmare to the point I stained the deck a solid color. This needed to be freshened up every couple of years. I tired of doing this chore so I contacted several contractors. Those contacted were not very enthusiastic and submitted extremely high bids without explaining exactly what materials they were using or a plan of attack. Brian of Carls Decking came with samples, brochures and a no nonsense explanation of what needed to be done to put me” in my happy place.” Brian inspected the frame and found it to still be level and in good shape. He suggested a total rip off of the planks and replacement of steps deck boards and railings. He even obtained the railing permit and made sure final inspection was handled. Pricing to do this type of renovation is not cheap but the final result was worth every penny! The crew that Brian sent over did an amazing job! "We had several wide and narrow cracks in a 15 year old driveway, which they filled and sealed neatly. The seal coat material was put down in a clean and professional manner. There was no splash or spill on the surrounding concrete garage aprons or stone block, or on the grass. They left no footprints in the seal coat and took away all debris. Just a really clean job. We had an issue with an unexpected storm washing away some uncured material in a small heavily shaded area a couple of days later. They came back and recoated the area. The job came out great. The company is responsive to phone and text messages, and they arrive on time. Overall a good experience."
