At first, things appeared to go smoothly, but the illusion of competence quickly disintegrated when it came time for the building inspection. The city inspector requires a letter from the project engineer verifying that the work is safe, sound, and compliant with code. 58 Foundations flat-out refuses to provide this basic validation of their work. Why won’t they stand behind their project? Are they hiding shoddy, substandard work? As a homeowner, I’m now saddled with the mess of an open permit and no resolution in sight. This is unacceptable. If a company won’t back their work with a simple letter, what does that say about their integrity—or lack thereof? Didn't expect this kind of run around from a well established professional firm, save yourself the headache."

I reached out to them to install a joist support system under my kitchen so that I can renovate this year. There were floor joists under the back door that had been cut during a renovation about 30 years ago. JES installed a jack system but then left my foundation under the door where you can literally see daylight from the basement. I brought this up to the crew before they left late Friday night (they worked long hours just to ?finish? without even asking me if it was okay to trap me at home that late), and the lead just shrugged at me. "phenomenal service. I had a small leak behind my half bath which completely saturated the sub floor. we could rip out the dry wall from the basement to expose the pipe. In order to reach the top of the dry wall I had to go grab a ladder from the utility room, come to find out, my hot water heater also decided to go up and there was water everywhere. I placed a call to Mr. Rooter right after around 12:15. They said they could be there between a 3-5 window. They showed up before 1:30, walked us through the process and went over pricing. They also gave us an estimate on a new water filter system, we have well water. Pricing was great and reasonable. David ran to the warehouse to get us a new water heater, came right back, fixed the leak and replaced the hot water heater in record time. We had everything back in working order by 530pm, at the latest. They are coming back to do the filtration system in 2 days. Would recommend this company.Responsive, honest, fair pricing,friendly "
