"So, Mary is right guys. At first I thought I was getting someone trustworthy to paint and power wash. What should have been a 1 to 1 1/2 days work turns into 3 or so days. I am very distrustful of people because of experiences in the past, but I wanting to give Mike and his brother the benefit of the doubt to come and uplift the exterior of the house because we have an upcoming home inspection. My sister originally had someone else in mind, but I spoke to Mike and thought I?ll use him instead. At first, he told me one price which was recorded on my ring, and then he told my sister another price and said he didn?t say that which my sister sent him the recorded ring discussion. He requested us to pay a $400 deposit like two days before starting the job as a down payment which we quickly sent via Cashapp. All this time my sister and I had an eerie feeling about this situation, but we proceeded giving Mike the benefit of the doubt.
