"I put in a request to change a lightbulb that was 15 ft. high and my ladder wouldn’t reach. The technician came out and quoted me $225 for 5 minutes worth of work. This was after him trying to sell me on all these other services I had no interest in, just focus on the task at hand! I told him no and he said he would remove the $90 “trip charge” (what a ripoff and I told the representative when I called to make the appointment I would not pay any sort of fee for an estimate or trip charge). I still told him that was high and could he come down closer to $75 as that is the most I would pay for such little work. He then complained that he drove over an hour to get to my house and he can’t do it for that low of an amount, and then ended our interaction with “but please keep us in mind for any of your future electrical needs or if you have any issues”. Hahahahahha so you refused to do the work that I called you for and think I would ever call you guys again??? He literally turned down free money to do a quick job and rather make nothing, makes zero sense since he was already there! They have permanently lost my business since I know I cannot depend on them. I have used Mister Sparky in the past even though their prices were always higher than others but I finally had to draw the line with them. Their greed over a few bucks lost them a customer, terrible business decisions and everyone should be warned this is how they operate. Stay away!!"

"HORRIBLE! I called and spoke with the person on the phone several times over different dates and asking whats their pricing on checking every outlet in the house. Was advised $200 dollars and it included all the parts necessary including any outlets or GFCI outlet or breaker that needs to be replaced. Was also advised that if there's any wiring issue, it will be quoted on site. On Site, their technician asked me if I knew of any trouble outlet, I showed him the ones and I explicitly ASKED him to check all. He nodded yes... Tech said he was done then I asked him did he check ALL outlet, he said NO (I knew he did not because he did NOT go in my office or Kitchen to check outlet at all) Tried to charge me extra to replace GFCI, I argued with him stating I was NOT expecting anything more than $200 he said whoever told me is WRONG! 1) He did NOT check all outlets as promised on the phone 2) tried to con me to paying extra for GFCI outlet when I clearly asked over the phone, Phone lady said NO extra charges except for any wiring issues. 3) when he left, I had called the number again, spoke with manager He said the job was NOT to check all outlet, It was a trouble shoot job. He argued with me. Bottom line, AVOID Clancy Electric at all costs! They LIE by giving good deal over the phone and CON you once they get inside the door!"
