"I monitored the radon in my house for about a month with a Radon Monitor made by AirThings. After a month, the average stayed around 4 pCi/L. I have a friend who recently had a radon reduction system installed in his house, so I asked who did the work for him. He told me that Radon Abatement Services did the work and that he could not have been happier with the work. He gave the owner's (John Swett) direct number. I called John and told him that I would like an estimate to have a radon reduction system installed. John immediately gave me the information that I needed to start the process. Within an hour, an employee (Nikki) called me and patiently, knowledgably, and professionally provided me with step-by-step instructions to get the ball rolling. Nikki is very responsive, and she follows through with everything she says she is going to do. I was provided an estimate, installation date, and within a few days I had a new system installed. The crew arrived on time and impressed me from the minute they got out of the truck. The team leader (Walter) knew me by name and introduced me to his crew. The crew is AMAZING! From start to finish, they respectfully treated my house as if it was theirs. Drop cloths were laid everywhere they were working. Walter and I walked throughout my basement, and he explained in great detail the extent of the work that he and his team would be performing. He explained the tests that he was performing (i.e. material under slab, air suction). Once he gathered the data he needed, he explained to me the entire process, and then he and his crew went to work. Walter is an expert through and through. Not just with his knowledge of radon abatement, but as a professional craftsman. The attention to detail, precise placement of all holes, piping, and electrical are very impressive. The efficient manner in how the job was carried out is second-to-none. The precision and amount of work that they accomplished in just under 4 hours is phenomenal. Since my basement slab did not have gravel underneath, the installation required two suction points. Walter's design, calculations, and fabrication of the two-suction system were brilliant. The work, both inside and outside, looks like a masterpiece. When the job was complete, Walter walked me to each portion of the job (inside and outside) to show and explain all aspects of the system. I'm 59 years old. During my lifetime I have hired many companies to perform a variety of services. Radon Abatement Services ranks in the top 5% of all companies I've ever hired. If you are considering getting a Radon Reduction System, or have Radon Reduction needs of any kind, LOOK NO FURTHER! Radon Abatement Services is the only place to go. While performing the initial walk through, the experienced and thoughtful professionals adapted their plan to utilize my sump pump. This was an effective strategy as it addressed the main source of radon and concealed the system in completely unfinished space. I just received my post mitigation radon results, and the system is working phenomenally. To sum it up, I was blown away by the responsiveness, thoughtfulness, and reasonableness and can't say enough positive things about this company. I keep putting them on hold, but I have built a relationship with them and they have been so patient and good throughout the whole thing. They have come out multiple times to help me with our previous contractor and current contractor for the remodeling. They have been great. They came out, met with my new contractor and it cost me nothing. They have been in constant contact with me regarding the status. They prepared for the states when I asked them to be ready to do the asbestos abatement. That was a part of the first stage of my remodeling project. Their pricing has been very reasonable. They did an assessment not just of the cost for the work, which they revised based on what the insurance company had told them to change. They have engaged with the insurance company, they have engaged with my remodelers and have come out without even charging us. The work that we have paid them for was just one time testing. This was the second test versus the first test we had. They do asbestos testing and asbestos removal.    </p>"

"Bob was on time, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He performed a thorough inspection of the home and conducted a radon test. He spent a lot of time talking with us and explaining his findings. He also helped us out after the inspection by providing information about building code and safety when the seller questioned if some of the requested repairs were required. <br /> I think he may be a bit more pricey than other inspection services (we paid $640 for inspection + radon test), but the value he provides is well worth the price. Would absolutely use him again in the future and recommend him without any reservations. Should also add that he accommodated our tight timeline and came out on a weekend with only a couple days notice. He's great! <br />"

"Could not have been any better. The office was responsive on initial contact, promptly scheduled, Came out and gave a detailed estimate and discussed their plan with real project photos. Very thoughtful on Options and strategy where to run the piping in a 29 year old house with not easy access for piping run. Detailed info on radon provided. They also replaced and sealed the sump pump which the two other estimates did not even consider. The crew communicated in advance on job start time. Mike and Clayton arrived right on time and were extremely professional and considerate, COVID-19 precautions with masks at all times, and they were done in about 3 hours; (much faster than others which said 1.5 days!) Cleaned up thoroughly vacuum etc. and went over system with me in detail. Their truck was well maintained, orderly with every tool and pipe connector possible. I got three estimates on this job. They GMD were not the cheapest of the three but the ~10 percent premium was worth it and included sump pump replacement and independent inspector testing follow up. Others bidders were cheaper and or did not account for follow up testing and/or did not give me confidence In their solution or capability to choose the best solution not the easiest one or cut a hole in my roof! I don’t write up many reviews but this was an experience worth sharing. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed."

He went well above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the whole process. On a last note the gas was not turned on the day of inspection but the company came back two days later to make sure the whole process is done without no fuss this is what i call real professionals.
