"We just had the very best experience with D&M Appliance Repair and will now be customers for life! Our dryer suddenly stopped producing hot air- it was still running, but not running hot air. I searched Google/You Tube to find out what may have been the issue and called the manufacturer about the cost of the parts, thinking my husband could possibly fix it. We decided to give D&M a try based on the many positive reviews they've received. After leaving a voice mail, Grace and I communicated by text. She was so prompt, informative and transparent about the process/price. D&M was so accommodating and went above and beyond to fit us into their schedule because we were only able to have someone come to the house on the weekend or after hours in the evening. Danny agreed to come at the end of his workday after hours. He called before arriving to give me an ETA as to the time he would arrive. I was so impressed by his quick diagnosis, very courteous & nice demeaner and honest advice as to whether we should go forward with the job. We ended up having D&M replace the part and had to pay only the cost of the part and labor (which is not hourly-based). He was honest about the price of the part, and the cost to replace it was much less than having to pay for a new dryer. While doing the repair, Danny cleaned out the entire inside of the dryer so it looks and is running like brand new (it was filled with a ton of lint which could've potentially led to a fire hazard)! It's actually so refreshing to have a very good, professional, honest and fair appliance technician with a company that has top-notch customer service!! We will definitely hire D&M for all our future appliance repair issues! Thank you D&M for a great experience and getting our dryer working in no time!"

His job was a little (maybe a lot) more difficult because we tried to fix the oven ourselves. We took a lot of pieces apart, had many screws laying around but couldn t remember how to put it all back together. Tough job that most people would turn down! "Based upon a misdiagnosis from another company, having my refrigerator 'down' for about a month was a big inconvenience! Having talked to Mr. Appliance of Howard County's customer service, shortly thereafter, the owner of the company gave me a call personally to tell me why he felt likely I had been given a misdiagnosis to correct my problem. He gave me four other possible reasons to correct my issue and felt a service call to re-diagnose was what really was needed. The technician that was sent out gave a correct diagnosis, and shortly thereafter when the part was received another appointment was made to install the correct part. The $$ they saved me and a quick turn-around due to one of the much lessor costly parts/labor was much appreciated!
