"Called on Sunday 11/9. Was told about the after hours service charge and ok?d the charge. Was told tech would be here in 2 hrs. Took 3. Told him again about ac not working. Checked it out said I was low on Freon. OK?d the work. Checked other stuff said there wasn?t a problem. AC started to work. After 90 minutes and $301.00 he left. AC stopped working the next day and hasn?t worked since. Today is the 15th. I have filed a complaint with the Arkansas Attorney General?s Office. I do not recommend this service."

"Anderson Heating and Air installed my units when my house was built. I joined their club to get my units inspected each year and 6 years in they tell me that my gas line and sediment trap were built wrong when they were installed. I said well y?all hooked y?all installed it so you should fix it for free. I talked to 2 different managers and they just keep blaming the plumber which makes no sense because this protects the unit from getting sediment in it. They don?t care about doing the right thing. "

"Clifton Hill did a great job. He answered our call and arrived quickly. I highly recommend his services. He has changed his business name to FilterMan Services. This was an extremely cold day and our furnace was lighting but blowing cold air. I began searching for emergency service providers. I received a call from Clifton and he said he could be here very soon. Long story short, He arrived and fixed our problem promptly. GREAT SERVICE!!!"

"Awesome work and amazing customer service!! Arturo was very professional, courteous & quick. His team installed an entire new HVAC system in 4 hours!! Their price / quote was a much better value, than several other local HVAC companies (offering the exact same system). Would refer them to anyone that needs their HVAC repaired and / or replaced."

FAQs for central a/c service or repair projects in Gentry, AR

A condenser fan motor is a crucial part of your air conditioner that prevents the compressor from overheating. It pulls heat from your AC unit to cool the refrigerant moving through the condenser coils. This allows your system to blow cool air and keeps everything running smoothly.

The most common causes of AC fan motor failure include loss of lubricant in the system due to overheating and a rusted or leaking run capacitor. Poor lubrication can also cause failure in the belt drive, which may impact the AC fan motor. Weather and electrical components can also affect your AC. For example, a storm could send water into your motor windings and damage the internal components.

Air conditioner fan motors last about 12 years on average, though they can last longer if maintained well. This includes keeping them clean and cooled as needed with annual air conditioner checkups. Routine maintenance is essential to catch AC fan issues early. An HVAC inspection can cost between $70 and $500, while AC cleaning services may range from $100 to $400.

A broken AC fan motor may need replacement because this part usually can’t be repaired. Several things indicate it’s time to replace your AC fan motor, including buzzing noises, a constantly running fan, unusually high energy bills, or an aging system. If you notice these signs, call an HVAC pro for help before the faulty motor starts to strain other parts of the AC system.

There are clear warning signs of a bad AC fan motor, including unusual interruptions in the fan operation. The motor might be malfunctioning if you hear weird noises like grinding or rattling or if the fan continues to spin when the unit is off. These indicators compromise your AC’s cooling performance and increase your energy costs. Addressing these issues immediately by contacting a trusted HVAC professional prevents further damage and safeguards your HVAC's efficiency.

Replacing your AC fan motor takes a professional one to four hours. The technician will start by assessing your system and safely removing the damaged motor. If a new part needs to be ordered, it might take a few days. Once the part is available, your pro will install it properly and make sure your system is running smoothly.
