"My husband already left a review for our project, but I wanted to add some additional praise. Alter Construction did an absolutely wonderful job replacing our floors and I highly recommend them! Communication: One of the first things you'll notice with Eli and his team is the tremendous amount of communication. He'll talk you through everything, provide recommendations as necessary, and answer any questions. On top of that, Eli sent us multiple updates every day that we were out of the house to keep us aware of what was happening. Pictures, video, text explanations, and he was always available for a call. It really put my mind at ease that the house was well taken care of in our absence. He ran the outside taps when it froze, kept the house at the temperature we requested, and cleaned up everything after. He also made us aware of little things like how the paint color we picked for baseboards didn't match the existing trim. With everything he did, made sure that we would be happy with the finished product. Quality: The workmanship is outstanding. The tile is cut and laid beautifully, with no hollow sounds when walking. My father used to lay tile back in his day, so trust me when I say it was well inspected after! Our walls have rounded corners, so it was very nice of Alter Construction to cut and round the baseboards instead of leaving them sharp. It looks very clean now. Attention to Detail: What really makes the work stand out is the team's attention to detail. They replaced a section of baseboards that wasn't in the work area to make them match because they were visible from the living room. They were kind enough to reinstall our baby gates at a higher position because the new baseboards were taller than the old ones. They even patched a hole in the carpet of one of our bedrooms with the scraps they pulled up from the living room. This wasn't something that we had asked them to do, they just took the initiative to really make everything nice for us when we came home. Summary: If you're looking for someone to do work on your house, you can't go wrong with Alter Construction. They'll take care of you like family and I promise you won't be disappointed."

"Allan & the guys working at AC Cornerstone do quality work. They built my house in 2005. I know they build quality because I watched the attention to detail and selection of quality materials that last. In 16 years, I've had only minor/expected maintenance issues. Everything still works. No cracks in the rock. This house is solid and built to last decades. I love this house. Building anything can be stressful with 1000's of choices and unanticipated problems. "We had the LET Group do a multifaceted remodel and construction effort on our home: remodeled the existing garage to a game room, added a bathroom, remodeled/moved the laundry room, remodeled the kitchen and main bathroom and built a new stand-alone garage with workshop. As other reviewers have noted, the LET Builder Project Manager, Luis Taipe, is fantastic. As all construction projects go, there were schedule problems and infrequent worker issues, but the key to a good project is how well these issues are managed and Luis is extremely professional and handled all issues efficiently and effectively. As other's have noted, Luis actually identified issues that my wife and I would have not noticed or ignored and had them corrected to his satisfaction first which was often more stringent than we would have requested. We struggled at the start of this project to find a good contractor and actually delayed the project several times because we were not comfortable with either the potential contractors or their proposals. This changed when we met Luis and listened to his absolute professional observations and recommendations during the initial project assessment and proposal process. His proposals were detailed and he was responsive to changes. Yes, there were several contract changes, but we were aware of them (no surprises) and were part of the process in developing the contract changes. This was a very big step for my wife and I and it was a major project ---- could not be more satisfied with the results and have already passed on recommendations to neighbors. Would recommend LET Builders to anyone with Luis as the Project Manager. Luis is personable, professional, and extremely responsive --- met his family as well and it is a very nice package to have worked with."

"When we first set out to build our addition, we had a general sense of what we wanted, but we didn't know how to get there, how long it would take, or what it would cost. After several interviews with companies around Austin, it was ultimately the sense of genuine honesty and caring from Annemarie that made TRS Build the obvious choice. TRS Build guided us through the entire process, from design to construction, taking care to work around our busy lives (we had a baby and broke ground at nearly the same time!). During the design phase, TRS Build provided several options based on our general ideas and some photos of rooms/styles we liked. We also had several iterations of material selection based on choices presented by the team which helped us not be overwhelmed with the immense variety that exists. After design, came the long wait for permits, which honestly was the toughest part of the entire experience. TRS Build handled all of this for us, and communicated often to ensure we knew the status and what to expect next. Ultimately this step was entirely up to the city and out of our hands. Once permits were granted we moved to the exciting and chaotic construction stage. At this point we had a newborn and spent a few months sleeping in our living room or at our in-laws'. TRS Build was completely understanding of our situation and though there were many new faces and noises throughout the day, we never felt like our lives were too disrupted by the construction. One thing I'd like to add is that, while sometimes communication was a bit delayed, all of my questions and requests were ultimately addressed to my satisfaction. In the end, it's difficult to convey just how happy we are with the job done by TRS Build. Our family was quickly outgrowing the space, and the addition designed and built by TRS Build has given us some much needed breathing room. We now have a beautiful master bedroom and a sanctuary of a master bathroom that includes a walk in shower & tub area which our entire family (kids included) absolutely love. In fact, we look forward to family bath time because the wet room makes it so easy! We're a few months post-construction now and I can still confidently say without a doubt that we are so happy we chose TRS Build for our project and will happily choose them again for future projects.
