He was honest about the fact that I didn't need my chimney swept and instead charged me only for the cleaning of the box and gas logs and took time to replace them in an aesthetically pleasing way. He cleaned the air ducts quickly and with little mess, always cleaning up after each one. He even fixed a minor issue caused by the previous homeowner that he discovered with the duct work and charged a very reasonable fee for it. "We have a single story stucco house. The roof is composition shingle, with decking, shingle, fascia, soffit, and gutter butting into the left and right sides of a stucco chimney on an exterior wall. Kickout flashing was never installed at the roof edge to terminate the turnback flashing, so water was leaking into both sides of the chimney chase near the fascia. However, there was no exterior evidence of any structural damage. We spent the better part of a year interviewing several roofing/stucco contractors looking for a qualified assessment of the situation, and a bid for a proper solution. All of the bids recommended at least partial demolition of the stucco surrounding the affected areas of the chimney ($3000+), with a disclaimer that there would likely be extensive water damage discovered, requiring a rebuilding of the entire chimney ($10,000+). Since the stucco and chimney seemed structurally sound, we were looking for a practical solution that specifically addressed the leak itself, and Dayton Contracting was willing to provide it. Shane suggested retrofitting the kickout flashing through slots cut into the chimney's surface, preserving the integrity of the stucco at a fraction of the cost. Daniel and crew did an excellent job of implementing the solution, and Shane warrantied the work for 1 year. We were confident that the issue had finally been resolved, after the chimney remained dry following several major spring downpours, until a smaller leak returned in the same area. Shane, honoring his warranty, decided to fabricate and install a new cricket over the existing one, with new turnback and kickout flashing, to totally seal the chimney. Again, Daniel and crew performed the work in a seamless aesthetic way, preserving the integrity of the stucco. Working with Dayton Contracting has been incredibly satisfying. We experienced excellent communication throughout the project. Daniel and crew are truly craftsmen. Shane provides creative and practical solutions, and he stands by his work. We have recommended Dayton Contracting to several of our friends and family, for both smaller and larger projects, and will not hesitate to contact them ourselves in the future, if the need arises."

"Overall, Wilson Roofing Co. was prompt, professional, and completed the job in a quality manner. <br /> Our journey started when we noticed an interior leak by the fireplace. We called different roofers for estimates and many said we should check with our Insurance company as it looked like our roof had hail damage. We called our Insurance company (USAA) and they sent out an adjuster to take a look. Sure enough, we did qualify for a new roof. <br /> We decided to consult both Angie's List and USAA when trying to find a reliable, quality roofing company and we landed on Wilson as they were on both lists and received consistent high marks. We had an estimate from Wilson Roofing and the sales representative delivered samples to try on our roof. When we decided to upgrade to the HD shingles and a color we liked, we negotiated on the interior painting and bundled it all into one job. Wilson let us know when they were going to get started and we were prepared for their visit. A crew showed up in the morning, removed the old roof, and installed the new roof all in one day. It was quite a neat process to watch, although a bit loud at times. <br /> After the roof job and chimney fix were complete, they sent out the contractor to paint our interior and he was terrific. They were finished in about a week and we had our house back in better condition than before. <br /> We highly recommend Wilson Roofing and Mr. Robert's Painting and were very pleased by their work."
