"Mr. Diaz and his crew were very respectful, professional and punctual. Mr. Diaz made reasonable suggestions like painting the kitchen cabinets and adding new hardware which made them look brand new. Every cabinet door was removed, sanded, primed and painted several coats. The painting was very professional--holes were patched and sanded, walls primed and painted and the crew cleaned up each day. The walls and the floors look great and exceed our expectations. When I first called Mr. Diaz he came the next day and measured and emailed me an estimate which was very reasonable. Whenever we discussed an addition he sent a new email with the adjusted price so the final payment was exactly what he had told us without any surprises. I whole heartedly recommend Diaz Painting for painting as well as flooring."

"The Communication and planning up front prior to installation and time line as well as numerous trips back and forth to HD, and Lowes due to the lack of evaluation of additional MISCLANIOUS items needed to hook up sink, didn't clean up behind himself, had to bk another day to do clean up and hook bk up the water line to ice maker, left opening in wall due to his construction, had to get dry wall to get him to fix. Had to buy items I didn't need , he failed to look in Box the sink INCLUDE them... last but not least he took liberties with taking tear down of cabinet to use a filler , never asked me....just did it.....and a lot of back and forth with him about his not wishing me to commit about what I wanted and expected, and I wasn't provided a Angi Discount off the quote price as I thought I would...PLEASE CONTACT ME...TO discuss, I only allowed him to do lower cabinet, I still need the upper 5 to 6 cabinets installed with different contractors....at half the price, I paid him. And this would be two days work, to simply install, the existing remaining units and fit to form based on the size, and space, and use .."

When I first started my search for a kitchen remodeler, I wanted one company that handled the entire process from design, cabinets, countertops, installation, electrical, and plumbing. American Kitchen Concepts fit that requirement. Dan Millard, owner of American Kitchen Concepts, helped me envision various layouts and options, before I ultimately decided upon the final design. He had many cabinet, countertop and hardware samples to choose from. He made the selection process easy and stress-free. At demolition, his crew was courteous and respectful. They cleaned up every evening and made sure dust was under control. When the cabinets were delivered, we were informed that two critical pieces were going to be delay by at least three weeks, which would have delayed the entire cabinet install. Dan recommended alternative pieces which provided the same storage capacity and preserved the original design look. He was able to have these new cabinet pieces delivered in three days and kept the project moving forward. We had a three-week vacation planned and trusted American Kitchen Concepts to continue with the project without our daily presence. Dan kept us informed of progress and when we returned our kitchen remodel was finished. Dan conducted a quality control visit and took care of any remaining issues. I highly recommend American Kitchen Concepts. They are honest, knowledgeable and stand by their products and workmanship."

"after seeing their website, I contacted them for a quote regarding a built-in bookcase I wanted for my living room. They responded quickly and a meeting was soon arranged. Upon meeting Tea and George, it  was immediately clear they were knowledgeable about their craft and easy to work with. "We hired KBR Bethesda to completely do-over our guest bathroom and make updates to our master bath. We were very happy with the process of working with KBR from Sim’s initial visit to our home through completion of the work and thrilled with the results. In the guest bath, KBR removed the 27 year-old soffit fluorescent lighting; installed new vanity lighting; an additional outlet, replaced the vanities, vanity counter, tub and floor tile, tub, toilet. The vanities , counters and tiles they have to choose from are high quality and offer a good range of choices. In the master, they replaced the same soffit lighting; replaced the vanities and counter; installed new outlets (including one inside the tower cabinet between the two sinks); removed a medicine cabinet and repaired the wall. They replaced all the plumbing fixtures, vent fans in both baths and painted both rooms. Douglas and Carlos, our two primary workers, arrived early each morning and worked tirelessly all day, cleaning up at the end of each day. They made sure to consult with us on discretionary things, such as the placement of grab and towel bars. We cannot recommend KBR highly enough. Their price was fair and the quality of their work excellent."
