"I had to get new tint on my '96 Honda Civic because it was hard to see through passenger windows due to snagging and bubbling of old tint. Was referred to LA tint by a fellow commuter. Went to the Woodbridge location and dropped of my car that Saturday late morning (11:00am). My car was done that Saturday evening. They needed time to remove the old tint which was a battle, but they said they completed the job. Told them i would just pick up the car on Monday (they're closed Sundays) which wasn't a problem. When I saw my vehicle the tint job was awesome! They said it was a bear getting the old tint off, but they did an excellent job!!! I paid $250 ($160 for the new tint + $90 to remove the old) which was worth it!!! It totally made a difference!!! I referred a family member who had her car done a week later and she was totally satisfied! I plan on taking my other car to get it tinted as well and my husband is going to get his done cause he really liked the job. <br /> Unfortunately , three weeks later I was in a car accident in my '96 Civic (not at fault). Thank God my daughter and I survived the crash, but my car of 17yrs was totaled so that tint job, gone. On the bright side the tint job did increase the value of my car for during the assessment. <br />"

"Let me first start by saying that if you are here because you are searching for a good window tint firm, your search stops here! <br /> I called at least 4 places to get an idea of cost, wait time, etc...I called Absolute and the phone was answered by Becky, and after the first 10 seconds, I knew I was going to be a customer. Dynamite friendly woman who was patient with my questions and answered them truthfully and courteously. Many of the other shops (many A rated) rushed me off the phone and weren't especially phone friendly. <br /> They were able to take me within an hour so I ran over there, met Becky, and she explained the variety of window films and how they differed. I made the choice with no pressure, no hassle and no drama. They took my car and I had it back in 90 minutes, exactly what Becky told me. The car looks PERFECT! You should know that this is no ordinary shop. These are serious business people, who offer SO much more than just window tint for your car. I was given a tour of their facility, and they are an impressive top tier graphics, graphics design, vehicle wrap and media company as well. I was actually amazed at their work and their capabilities. <br /> I know this sounds like a paid advertisement but I promise you I am a verified Angie's List member and just a very, VERY satisfied customer! "Amazing experience at Skyline Tint. First, they were able to squeeze me in their busy schedule an hour after I called just to get an estimate. Once I arrived, they were very helpful in discussing the various films they carry. I went with the Suntek CTX 50% in front and 35% in the back (VA legal). They completed my 4 door accord in about 75 minutes. I will get my next car done at Skyline Tint. Awesome job!!!!"

"Within two weeks of estimate, the installer arrived on-time and professionally attired. The installer arrived with all necessary materials and inquired about the correct Windows to receive installation. Then, he cleaned and installed the film. Upon completion, he reviewed the installation with me and even completely re-installed one window with new film. One window was about 20 feet off the ground. Once on the ladder, he even agreed to replace the battery on my electronic blind control. <br />"

"The problem was that the summer's heavy rain storms defeated the storm drains in my neighborhood, causing water damage in basements. I discovered that one of my basement window well drains was backing up, filling the window well above where the vent was. The glass block window prevented water from coming in, but it came in around the vent seals (The vent can be opened and closed).  <br /> Where the drain is backing up is the root problem, but the immediate solution was to seal the vent permanently with sealing caulk, or replace the window with a ventless glass block window. I chose the latter, and, although expensive, it turned out to be the right decision. MD Glass Block is a small, family owned business with experienced installers. Knocking out an existing glass block window is not a pretty job, but these guys knew exactly what they were doing and did a great job. No mess, no fuss. I hardly had to do any cleaning up. They were quick efficient and left no mess. The new window looks good and strong and fits perfectly. Now I just have to find out where the drain is backing up. In the meantime I should be protected from flooding through that window. <br />"
