"I contacted several appliance contractors for quotes. None of the contractors I contacted responded thru my "request quote" on AngliesList.com. The other contractors I called gave quotes that were competitive with Bens' Appliance. I called Ben's Appliance office, discussed the oven symptoms, gave them the model number JGSP28SEK4SS & scheduled the repair. The office person was very pleasant & helpful discussing the problem & scheduling the repair. Ben came about 15 min early, was very pleasant & answered all my questions in detail. He came with the correct parts & performed the repair in approx 30 minutes. The oven ignitor part costs $123. Labor was $178. Total cost of repair was $301. I asked him to look at one of the stove-top burners that was not consistently lighting. He cleaned the corroded ignitor & it lights consistently now. Cleaning the corroded ignitor was no charge."

The other company grossly overcharged me, replaced the heating element with a non-OEM part and sold me a part I did not need the pulley arm and poorly put the dryer back together. Not to mention left me hanging for 2 weeks with the original issue of the dryer not heating and new one where the dryer stuck at 1 min and would just keep running. This other repair company (ALPHA OMEGA) ignored all texts and calls from a frustrated customer. After $375 and nothing fixed, I had no other option but to seek another repair service to fix the dryer. I contacted this company and demanded a refund of my money, we will see if he follows through with the promise of refund."
