"Whereas I like the carpet and flooring, the new baseboards were painted (not a good job) by an unlicensed contractor they subcontracted with. They did credit me $100 however, I was stuck with the mess. We had called after we signed the contract and asked to replace the baseboards in the room that they put the new carpet in. They did not follow through and said we never called to add that to the order. Being out of town during installation, we had no idea things were not going exactly as we planned. I feel the owner and staff are rather condescending. They had an excuse for everything. It was a frustrating experience."

"We had to replace out existing granite counter top after trying to get the old dishwasher out  to be able to get the new one installed.   After that piece of granite cracked all over, we just decided to get new.  Not that we could afford it.  We got Sunwest's name from AZ Tile. I faxed over measurements to approximately 3 companies, and Matt was the "only company" to respond back to me.  He mentioned he had a slab left over from a previous job (remnant) and wanted us to take a look at it.   We met with Matt on Saturday and although the slab was very nice it didnt really go with what we had in mind.  BUT!  There was another slab that caught our eye.  Matt checked and it was available.   We said "do it" on the spot.

"My wife and I recently met Ray with CKBR at a Maricopa County Home Show. He was one of many folks we visited with when we were looking to remodel our guest bathroom. After the Home Show, Ray was very prompt with following up with us. We ended up having several contractors in our house to provide estimates, which included very high pressure sales tactics. Ray was the final one we were going to visit with. His approach was dramatically different than the others, and one of the primary reasons we ultimately ended up going with CKBR.
