"I hired Paramount back in 2020 for work on the first floor and appreciated their work so much that I brought them back for the basement (fix/ update after mold repair) and second floor (bathroom and stairs update, new carpet). Like the first time, I really appreciated Ryan's suggestions on style and options, and the various contractors were professional and very kind about working around me and the cats. Ryan was ultimately more critical than me about details and appreciate that desire to do things right and as clean as possible. Would use again!... although that would require a new house at this point. 😁"

"Bret did a fantastic job realigning all the doors/trim in my basement which had shifted over the past 20 years. He also lowered the baseboard all around my basement as well. He worked tirelessly and quickly. It really is nice that all the doors in the basement close effortlessly and it looks like it did when brand new. He also installed a new lazy-susan shelving which had broken. In my opinion, Bret is a craftsmen's craftsman. All his work has been outstanding, priced below market value, and he is honest and trustworthy. Just the type of person you want to know and have his number handy for all projects."

"We hired Uncle Brian for two master bathroom remodeling projects. They are both beautiful, functional, and within budget, despite my lofty ideas. He gave us great advice, helped us with decision making ,and created bathrooms that look like they're out of a home magazine, but without the price tag. He is absolutely the best contractor we've ever worked with. Brian and his crew do thorough, excellent work and they clean up after themselves. Brian is very responsive with communications. He is transparent, honest, extremely hard working, and will be the first person we call for our next remodeling project."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Gilcrest, CO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
