"When it rains on the inside of your fireplace, you have a problem. My chimney crown had several cracks that needed to be sealed. I called a few chimney repair companies and in the end decided to go with Holy Smokes Chimney Service. He came to my home and gave me a quote the day I called him, and then proceeded to tell me he was going to put a tarp over my chimney with no pressure to use his services while I investigated other companies. I was impressed with that and his overall knowledge and experience. Waylon was back with his assistant within two weeks to clean and waterproof the bricks, seal the crown, and install a new chimney cap. They also blew the leaves off the roof, walks, and driveway. "Joe and his crew were punctual, professional and extremely competent.  They assessed the extent of decay of the soffits and fascia on our 54 year old, 1800 sq ft house and carried out the repairs. They replaced many rotten boards, often with no evidence of a seam or other repair marks.  ..They scraped away old layers of peeling paint and repainted.  They caulked and leveled the gutters.   Joe , the owner, did much of the work himself and showed us what he was doing every step of the way.  He gave us tips on how to maintain the work.  Shortly after he completed the work, we had a downpour and all the seams and work held well.  He kept to the estimate, even when a few things were unexpected that caused him a bit more work.  And he left our yard and porches clean.  We will certainly call him again for other similar jobs."

"I had a leak at my back door that was ruining my hardwood floor inside. I had several people come to look for the source, but nobody could find out why. Then my insurance agent suggested calling Terry Garrett at Skyline Contracting. He sent one of his people, who was able to diagnose that the leak was caused by faulty gutter cover installation, causing rain water to flow backward behind the siding. Skyline personnel then fixed the gutters, replaced the rotten door, including painting, replacing casing, reinstalling locks, and door shutters. They cut out the rotted hardwood floor, and installed tile (my choice) at the entranceway. Everone was very professional, and cleaned up the work area when work was done for the day. Skyline was very good about communicating with me, and everyone showed up at the time I was told they would."
