"After 15 years in my current home, I was finally getting granite countertops. I was so excited. I went to Paramount on the advice of a friend who had used them. From the start they were very helpful. They answered any and all questions I had. I looked at multiple granite places, and I ended up selecting my granite at another business. Paramount did an excellent job coordinating the delivery of the granite to their site in a quick and efficient manner. The gentleman that came to measure our kitchen was professional and on time. Paramount allowed me to come down to the company and they put up all three slabs they were using for my kitchen and put the template of my counters, island and desktops on them. They were patient and helpful in deciding where to cut the granite to get the maximum effect I was looking for. (Lots of movement). Along the way, I made changes - edges of the granite, backsplash changes and added sinks and faucets. They patiently updated my invoice and emailed me the updates to the project within an hour every time.  I never felt they were frustrated or upset with me, and they treated me with respect. The installers were on time and professional.  They did an excellent job and I love it. I have had many compliments on them and wouldn't change a thing. "Very happy with the final result.  Both the bathroom and bedroom look great.  The bathroom was completely gutted and remodeled with new vanity, tub, tile and toilet.  The bedroom ceiling was un-popcorned, the closet was redone and the room repainted.  New doors were installed for bathroom, bedroom and hall closet.  Sam was great to work with and always made sure the work was being done as we wanted.

"Hal's work is top-notch but I grew increasingly frustrated with the timing and inconsistency of his work habits. His was one of several estimates I received and basically he said he would beat any estimate I received. The difference is that everyone else was going to use cedar and he only works with pressure-treated Southern yellow pine, which is less than half the cost of cedar. I was unsure of the durability and longevity of that product so I did extensive research online. Still unsure, I drive around the Twin Cities to see other jobs Hal did that gave stood the test of time and I decided to move forward. Clearly, the way he builds his fences require considerably more manual labor than those built with cedar posts and pickets so essentially instead of paying for the higher cost of cedar, you pay for increased labor costs. Unfortunately, Hal isn't as going as predicting when he will get jobs complete as he is completing them well. He was over a month late in getting started and I repeatedly had to call him to inquire about the delay. It was quite frustrating but since I didn't absolutely need the fence done by a certain date, I decided to practice patience. Once he finally started, most days he and his helper only worked 4 hours so the project dragged on far longer than I thought it would. Admittedly, there were a couple of weather-related days but other times when it was a perfect day, they wouldn't show up and I would give no idea when they were coming again. After I told him I really needed to have him be more communicative, he was and within a short time after that conversation, he completed the fence. The fence is beautiful and appears very sturdy. We'll see how it withstands time and weather but for now I am very happy with it. Hal does beautiful work but if you are on a strict timeline I would not recommend working with him. If you are flexible and don't mind putting more effort into communication, he is a great person to work with.

"Sort of stuck with this company because I got on their frequent flyer program for auto withdrawal of $190 a year. ALL I ASK FOR IS TO MY SHOWER TO BE FIXED, so it works, and doesn't leak for close to the original price given, $400 ------ not hundreds and hundreds of dollars more for additional things all around the house I can't afford right now, and don't need right now, after any "I cannot touch faucet or turn valve" forty-five minute "safety check" . I Just asked for a different plumber than the last one and a price quote. - Someone called me seven days later and left a message they would call back within 24 hours. - still waiting today past that time, - left her my cellular number too. Oh well."

"After removing all the cabinet doors, they began prepping the outside of the cabinets. And then began cutting and gluing, which is a white laminate, to the outside.  Their application and cutting were very precise and very well done.  All doors and hardware were attached.

Next they proceeded with the countertops.  Since we were not installing granite, just new Formica, they were able the remove the old Formica and then lay the new on the existing base.

They then proceeded to install the new garbage disposal, double sink and faucet set.

The product is holding up very well.  I was a bit leery of going with white, but that's what I wanted, and I am extremely pleased at how easy it is to keep clean.  It still looks brand new!

We have nothing but praise for Sears and their personnel.  The saleslady was extremely helpful in guiding me to make the right choices.  As I said previously, we are also very pleased with the installers.  They would be welcomed into our home for more work if needed.

They did a complete and excellent cleanup, including hauling away the old cabinet doors for disposal.  Overall, I think the job took only two (or three) days.

Overall we are extremely pleased with the job.  Not only has it added value to our home, but it has added value to our enjoyment of our home.  

Price wise, they were over two other estimates.  However, those were individual contractors; we weren't able to check them out. The extra we paid was well worth the security we felt by dealing with a well known company and knowing if a problem occurred, they would make it right.  The difference in the estimates was only about $2,000.00."

"Paul did a fantastic job. He was easy to work with, cared about our expectations, was creative in his suggestions, and he was very detailed in his workmanship. He also checked in a few times throughout the week to see if we had any questions or had any comments for him.  Our rooms were initially dingy, outdated, and closed in; now we love being in the new updated space!  It's modern, fresh, open, and bright.
