Get matched with top addition to existing structure builders in Glen Ellyn, IL

"Chester and the crew at Above & Beyond Construction are great! They completed our home addition and we look forward to working with them again on any future construction or home projects. Project - home addition above existing garage (bedroom and full bath) Budget - the stated budget was the final cost. Any additional costs associated with the project were well communicated (before the work was done) so we were not shocked or surprised. Craftsmanship/Work - the crews arrived on time and ready to work. They showed great respect to our house and neighbors. If they saw something that they were concerned about, it was addressed and discussed. The go out of their way to do it right, the first time. Chester was also able to find subcontractors that performed quality work that were budget friendly and timely (for example, we didn't have to wait days/weeks for an electrician/plumber to show up). We felt like we were their top priority even though they had other projects they were working on. Permits - Chester and crew handled the permits and communicated the project with our architect. His crew would also meet with the City for the permit inspections, which were approved on the first inspection because he and his crew do things the right way. They were very knowledgeable about what the City wants/prefers so inspection/permit process was easy. Communication - Chester was our main contact but we also felt comfortable talking with any crew members about our concerns. Chester was always available and just a phone call away to help resolve any problem or also answer any questions we might have about the process and next steps as the addition was being completed. It was great working with Chester and his team at Above & Beyond Construction and we would recommend him and his team."

"Salvador and his crew did excellent work in finishing our basement. They installed a beautiful wet bar, cabinets, a full kitchenette, can LED lighting, tiled floor, bathroom and shower. Their dry wall and painting is superb. The luxury vinyl planking floor throughout looks marvelous along with the white base board and trim. Structural, Framing, Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC was all done to code. They took their time and paid attention to all the details as they take great pride in their work. HQP price was fair and reasonable. They also stand behind their work. We are very pleased with our finished basement and I would highly recommend Salvador and his company."

"It was great to work with Icon Builders to building our dream home. They went out of their way to accommodate the completion of our home build in time for school. Their response times are great and the staff is truly personable. It was great working with Jenna, Natalia, Joe, Scott, Shawna and Charlie. I will recommend Icon to anyone looking to build a custom home."

"Jack took detailed notes during home quote visit and provided us an initial estimate over the phone. His proposal was comparable to other bids we got. We decided to move forward and he sent us a written estimate via email. The first estimate was slightly over original amount due to known possibility with electrical and additional work we wanted. They started the project and it took about 6 weeks to complete. There were some bumps in the beginning with days/time they were working but we were able to sort that out and all was good. Ralph was the main guy that did most of the work. He did a nice job and made sure to clean up after the end of each day. Basement turned out great and We are very happy with it."

"I can't say enough about A P Builders and how absolutely wonderful they have been from start to finish. We completely gutted and remodeled our home and Angelo was upfront, honest, timely, and everything that was contracted was done to perfection. We had crew there every day from start to finish. He started on time and finished on time. Any change orders were handled professionally and solutions were found for any unforeseen challenges due to the age of my home. I highly recommend AP Builders for any of your home improvement needs."

"We are very happy with the new custom home Clean Edge built for us. True to their name, they provide a great attention to detail. The quality of the construction is very high, with solid materials and also an aesthetic on the finishing touches. You have to look very hard to find any imperfections, and then they correct those quickly. The owner is very focused on this approach, providing products and services a cut above the rest. This company is a rare find and I would not hesitate to engage them again any time."

"In addition to what is mentioned our kitchen & living room were painted, including the kitchen cabinets. Installation of new backsplash in the kitchen. And, build in book shelves in the living room. All done so well and in a timely manner with consideration for our busy schedules. I highly recommend RC Brothers Construction."

"We worked with Linda at DESIGNfirst to scope out initial designs for multiple variations of a major multi-floor / multi-room remodel of our home. She was extremely helpful in proposing and developing design ideas and effective at working with her team to turn around our proposal variations in a timely fashion with high quality. We ultimately held off on our remodeling plans for reasons completely unrelated to the outstanding work Linda and DESIGNfirst provided. We hope to revisit our remodeling plans at the right time, and when we do, we know who we'll call!"

"Frank was terrific! Due to a job loss, we have decided to hold off on the remodel. When we are ready, Frank will be our choice"
